  • hi superpup... yes i am addicted to this site ~ wheres the padded room :rotfl: now cleaning... well i am 'ok' because i am still living at home so i clean the bathroom/kitchen as i go however my room is a differnet story  you see its not so much mse its work :rotfl: anyways i tend to keep everything in its place everything clean/tidy and bed made however pan over to my desk and its like a bombs hit it :rotfl: however seeing as i spend 99% of my personal time here i can see why. i ahve paper/pens/calculators/empty bottles and stuff everywhere.

I tend to clean once a week (day off) so vaccum, dust, polish, wipe, clean animals then every other weekend that i have off i 'deep clean' ie empty all drawers clean/sort/ebay them, scrub everything, change bed, shake n vac carpets and air the room. however i do get days where i just cant stand my desk so i will sit there and clean it before i log onto/do it around mse

I see what you mean though...
  • Here's a question. Do I wake up Ste so he can do his washing up.. cos I'm not doing it. Or would that be really cruel?

Stick a post it note on his forehead to remind him, and then get yourself off to bed for a well earned rest!

Really cruel, but possibly really funny too :D

Unless he's like my OH, in which case leave it to one side for him to do in the morning. I once left OH's jeans on the washing line for 10 days in all weather because when I asked him to he said he was just about to do it and would I stop nagging please. Unfortunately no birds did their dirty business on them, where's sod's law when you need it?
  • I've done so much my hands are dry and sore!!! If he thinks I'm doing his !!!!!!! washing up he's got another thing coming.. It can stay there til he does it.

    That would be really cruel.

I think you should do it! :rotfl:

Or, put the washing up brush in one hand and the washing up liquid in the other so he can see it when he wakes up...
  • Mine is a big big mess. I try and keep the lounge tidyish so that if anyone comes in then I can shut the doors and sterr them straight in there. Kitchen looks absolutely awful BUT I am stripping it so I can give it a coat of paint. I have a friend who has an incredibly tidy house. Her and her hubby are totally anal about it. I couldnt be ar*ed . I want the kids to remember they had fun with me not that they always had a tidy house but mum was too busy to talk to them. I keep thinkin if I die unexpectedly then I am going to be helluva embarassed :rotfl: .
