I hate it when stuff is out of place. Trouble is I'm usually so tired after work I can't be bothered,so I spend all weekend sorting it out. As long as its clean I can cope!
If stuff doesn have a place, then it can never be out of placeIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Hypno - I already knew your answer
as I read your diary! Kindred spirit! You're an inspiration though. You have so much drive and energy. I've tried flylady too but spent too much time reading and not enough time doing. Story of my life...
Ah, Kim - just seen your edit - feel a bit better now! 2 kids, 1 dog, 2 cats and a house that needs quite a bit doing to it so never looks amazing when tidy. It's rarely really filthy but do feel embarrassed if anyone comes round.
Toto - I think running round for a short time would keep on top of it if I could get to that point. Saying that, I do sometimes but seem unable to keep it up. Haven't got a huge amount to ebay but have sorted some stuff out for DD2 to do over the next couple of months. Don't iron except for a few work things. Creases fall out by the time I'm at work and if they don't, I blame them on the car journey!
Sagaris - Too right but I wish I could achieve a balance between having time for people and being a lazy !!!!
LOL at spud and beanielou

I got a cat, see pickie on my avatar.
But even hes quite good around the house. He knows hes only allowed to scratch his post.
He NEVER has had an accident.
I bring him to the cat hairdresser every three months for a wash, cut & blow to keep him nice.
He does have a slight furball issue:mad: Even though I buy a food thats susposed to help disolve them:rolleyes:0 -
I take my laptop with me around the house and type in amongst the cleaning! My son is at school all day, and my daughter is only 6 months old and really likes to sleep a lot, so I have lots of time on my hands at the moment. In April when I go back to work, it will be a completely different story!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Ah, cute, how'd I miss that?
To be fair, mine don't have accidents, just dirty paws  . They have a litter tray for when they're in at night (eldest was in an RTA just over a year ago).
They short haired so no hairdressers or furballs fortunately.
Is there any way to add pics without having to upload them online somewhere?
D&DD - I've got the flylady book. It's probably on the bookcase covered in dust0 -
One of the joys of being a DFW is that I have decluttered quite a bit but there are still squillions of books about the place! (many listed on GM!!) Its never spotless as I have 3 cats but I do like a leval of cleanliness..having said that the flat currently looks like a chinese laundy, theres pots of jam around the kitchen, cake etc and I usually try & just put things away & tidy as I go. My mum drives me nuts when she comes to stay as she never takes mugs into kitchen, washes up etc! So in short the flat is lived in but certainly not spotless! Life is for living after all! I know people who have immaculate houses & it always worries me they spend so much time cleanking & keeping it that way that they miss out on actually living! For me its about balance! Cat hair is a mare though!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0
