Ahhh! 5 mins peace as its sweetie Friday so kids eating milky stars:D . Had a banging headache and had to resort to calpol (god that stuff is vile) seems to be kicking in but I am now in a foul mood.

Ham seems nice, well the chunk I cut off to taste test did. Just need to roast in oven to glaze it. Have taken the easy option for tea and bought oven chips! will do dippy egg with it too and beans for girls. Expect DH will moan about the oven chips but the mood I am in he had better wind his head it or its likely to get ripped off:rotfl: . DD2 is being a right pain in the @rse and I am not in the mood to put up with it. Do you think if I sent her for a 3 min time-out she would notice if the timer did not ring for 40 mins or so??

One basket of ironing done, one to go so getting there. Still got bedding on line so best get that in before the frost gets it.

Is it time for a spicey rum and lemonade yet??

    Hiya
Just sat down for a few minutes until DH brings the children home from riding. We've got a school event tonight from 6 till 8 so i'm making the most of a spare minutes. Not done much today flying wise apart from two loads of washing, dried work towels in TD, made two hampers up ready for school christmas fair, general tidying, a million phone calls and that's about it. Do you ever wonder what we'd all be paid if we itemised the amount we do in a day!

Going to put my feet up for another 15 mins and then look and see what flying I need to do today. Can't decide whether to open the bottle of wine before or after the school quiz for 60 children! Before I think!

Have a fab weekend...speak soon. Gunsandbanjos - that guy is trying it on! Idiot! (him not you!) xx

nicki - have you thought about 02 simplicity? i now get 400 cross network anytime minutes and 1000 texts for £20 a month, and there are cheaper deals too. i've found it cheaper than payg actually and it's a month by month thing so no tie-in.

I'm with Virgin ATM and it's working out okay for me so far, I don't actually use my phone enough to use any sort of bundle :rotfl: Last year I topped up my phone with a whole £50 in 12 months :rotfl::rotfl: I don't want to even think what OH spent on his

Just sat DD down with "Feeding the nation" ;) She's much more receptive to the idea of us trying out rationing/smaller portions as she's very health conscious for a 6 year old :rotfl: So far she wants to try pea pod soup, Hollandaise soup and cheese soup  I somehow think OH would not be impressed if I told him we were having cheese soup for tea :rotfl::rotfl:

Right, off to put a light wash on - just done a bleach wash though so will run the machine on a rinse cycle first ;)

I'm home, not been back since took DP to physio so pleased I did all that this morning. Thankfully I cleaned the bathroom yesterday after bathing the dog as he shook himself everywhere so that was done, I'll give it a once over tonight when I am waiting for my me time bath to run.

Been several places, farm shop to order Xmas stuff and get the few things I needed for the rest of the month, pet shop to collect the pet foods, other shops for some fruit & veg, few other things I needed. Went and got a nice shoe rack from Argos, quite funky, little expensive but I like it and will probably last longer as much more sturdy than the cheap ones I keep buying. As it was spend £50 and get £5 gift card back I got a Xmas present for my neice aswell then part paid with the last gift card I got :D

Visit DPs Nana to check she's ok, then before we knew it was time to collect DS2 from school....not much sorting got done then. Will have to do some tonight, need to make a space for the shoe rack where it is going.
One day I might be more organised...........

I'm going to sit down with the bottle of mulled wine - there's not enough cola in for me to have a whiskey and coke and OH will probably kill me if I ask to have his bottle of white wine .... oh dear what a shame he doesn't like mulled wine :rotfl::rotfl:;) So much for going T-total again

Right, fish chips & mushy peas for tea, just going to go and get them out the freezer and on the baking tray and put the peas in a pan.

Anyone any idea how to get burnt milk off a pan without scratching it? I've tried salt & boiling water ala thirftyways book but it hasn't worked :o

    Right, freezer....

Had that one a couple of weeks ago DD (8yrs) Little Miss Independant decided she likes hot chocolate so first time put the milk in the kettle to boil it  but luckily OH cleaned it. The next time she put it in a pan that wasnt non-stick and burnt it. I just left it to soak for a couple of days and it came off. Not sure if it does down to bl00dy good pans that makes a difference as mine are 21 years old and inside are as good as new.

Havent done anything else other than walk doogie to get DD and cleared kitchen of mucky dishes.

Dont know what to do for tea as should be Chicken Korma from the meal plan but OH cooked beef instead of chicken the other day. Wonder whether to make a beef n bean chilli - feeling creative so its bound to be a disaster.

And I cant have alcohol until tomorrow
