Morning all
One load of ordinary washing out on the line, and just pegged out the cats blankets. Now got the machine on a hot wash with soda and vinegar. Always have to run it again to get the hairs out so thought I might as well give it a good blast.
S&Sd kitchen and vacuumed right through downstairs. DH home today - he's got the dentist this afternoon - and I'm missing my alone time. He's gone out with the dog now though. Must try not to be snappy for no good reason. I know I'm just stressing about things that are happening in the kids lives. When they grow up you still worry just as much and feel even more helpless. Not sleeping well, lots of dreams.0 -
Morning everyone
Didn't do any flying yesterday as had very bad stomach pains and vomiting so I spent all day in bed. Must've over done in on Wednesday!!

Hope you feel better soon LMS, there is a nasty vomiting virus thing going about. I had it earlier this week and now my DD has it. (((hugs)))The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Oops - still in dressing gown. Been looking for cars as word from garage so far is not good. Engine has seized  and our garage says in twenty years of repairing Saab he has never seen it happen before and he only serviced it a month ago. Just cannot find why so looks like we'll be paying a bill for 5 days work on it and it cant be repaired  . OH is soooo particular about what he wants as well making it difficult to find something (and no transport other than bike to go look at anything!)
I will go get showered and dressed now and think dog needs bathing this weekend she's stinkybless her.
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Thank you GnB!!! I've read about it, but don't understand where I've had it from as I've been housebound for nearly 2 weeks
It appears to have only been a 24 hour thing thankfully, but some people have had it longer than that.
Must get on with my jobs now and stop lurking on here!!

Beautiful day here - as long as I stay inside with the heating on - it's so cold!
I've done the cloakroom, and am about to do the bathroom - no, really, I am, any minute now:rolleyes:
Hi FrankieM - good to hear from you!
pigpen - hope you are feeling better today!
Virtual hugs to those feeling poorly - I do not want to share this bug!
Off to visit my mother this afternoon - had slightly better news on Wednesday: she is able to swallow again, so is having something to eat (yogurt, or juice thickened with stuff that makes it look exactly like wallpaper paste). Only a tiny bit of progress, but will make her feel much more positive. Still a small hope that she will be able to be transferred to a nursing home sometime.
Right, bathroom still waiting...It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Morning All
Just back from my Driving Lesson - have now booked up to 2 per week until christmas so hoping that will improve things:D .
Usual morning rush of breakfast, pack ups, hair brushing etc etc. kiddies at school on time. DD2 much brighter today and had a full nights sleep (came in at 5.45am) so she has gone of to playschool. Came home, put all the junk in its proper home and hoovered the lounge and kitchen floors, washed breakfast dishes up. Loo scrubbed and bleached before I went out.
Right off for half hour challenge
Bathroom
Put dishes away
Mop hall & bathroom floors
Hoping little will be tired so I can do half and hours ironing. Might strip DD1 bed as did not get round the that, blowing a gale so good drying to be had.
Right, timer and music (plus a cuppa:D )0 -
I'll join you with that Shell - have done nothing so far as my mate called round and has just left. DS wet the bed last night so need to wash sheets as well as doing everything else!
see you in a bit
