Having said that, he never did realise I was the woman of his dreams, so maybe it was you after all!

I did 4 loads of washing.. put 2 loads in the dryer the dryer burst into flames.. AGAIN!!! I am NOT having it fixed again.. obviously this is going to be an ongoing recurring problem so I'll have a new one if the insurance company don't mind!!! I am not prepared to use something which is quite clearly not safe to use.. what if it had done that last night when I put it on before I went up to bed.. we could all be dead!!

I have had nightmares about my new TD. In one it fell apart and was made of old clothes, then it melted, then it flooded, and then it started to eat dog food...

Supposedly, it's fabric conditioner that makes them prone to bursting into flames...

It wasn't the hoover one that burst into flames was it??

    Hi everyone,

I'm cross eyed with trying to catch up on reading all the posts...and now I can't remember who has done what!!

Concerts? So long ago I couldn't possibly tell you, although I will mention Dire Straits, as that was absolutely brilliant...and when I was still in the 6th form I once went to Covent Garden and heard Placido Domingo...definitely memorable, but in a rather different style!

sexymouse - that's brilliant news, well done. I am now feeling inspired, so maybe I shall ring a few agencies up tomorrow, and see what they sound like.

I have been working quite a bit this week, and heavy stuff, clearing huge amount of rubble on Tuesday, so owner can have new kitchen garden, and then removing huge shrubs and overgrown ivy today. It's really so poorly paid, that I just don't think I can take it any more!

In between, I have tried hard to keep up with flying, and cleaned the windows this morning before going to work - although I haven't done them on the right day! I shall do the bathroom tomorrow...

  • Evening ladies, well I have done no more flying since yesterday:o apart from loading the dw and a quick S&S of kichen! I am aiming to catch up at the weekend but may just end up having a good tidy up and start again on monday as I don't seem to have any motivaton this week:cool: as long as house doesn't look too much like bombs hit it I can cope. Am off to bed now so will catch up tommorow.

    Hi

Thanx for all the good wishes. Procedure 1 went ok procedure 2 not so good. They couldnt get to see all that they wanted due to the level of pain I was suffering so now need to have a different type of procedure done. Have been dozing due to the after effects of the sedation and of course now its time for bed I'm wide awake. Just wish I didnt have the stomach ache so bad.

Hope you have all had good days and hope pigpen feeling better.

Will try a little flying tomorrow altho I am not allowed to drive, drink alcohol or sign any legal documents! Maybe I should blow the credit cards and then deny responsibility :rotfl: .

    See you then, thanx again

    evening all

am back from dinner out, popped into tesco to buy a tin of tomatoes for tomorrow's lasagne and ended up £21 worse off :( got OH some of his fave beer (old peculiar) and £5 of it i will get back as it's for sunday at church.

really need to get more stuff done tommorrow. sunday is still not finished though its sorted in my head, just need to make a couple of calls and get some extra resources bought. also really need to get some job letters off - i want the one i am going for next week so badly that i am not very motivated to apply elsewhere. i ahve a meeting in the morning with a contact who knows a lot about the part of london its in and another friend happens to be on placement there next week so i may be able to score a look around the morning before my interview :)

    Hello everyone, from sunny Australia.
Its been raining most of the time we have been here, but its clear and sunny now...
Our rented house is a bit of a mess, it needs a ggod clean, but thankfully no clutter, thats all in the UK.
Still getting used to the time difference.
Getting used to seeing so much of my parents.
Getting used to DH working nights.
And I'd forgotten how much us Aussies swear!!!
I will start flying properly next week. I'm still trying to get into some sort of routine...

Love and hugs to you all..........!!
