    Indeed, the point is

You know from the NEWBIES thread, post 2, that the first think you do with a claim form is to acknowledge the claim.
This extends your time from 14 days from date of service, presumed to be 5 days after issue, to 28 days after date of service

Thats what I mean by passive
All this info is in the VERY obvious NEWBIES thread. You have no excuse not to have read this and understood te firt steps.

I have tried to confirm acknowledgment of service online but I am unable to and there is this message:

A bar has been put in place on this claim. You cannot respond to the claim at this time.

    What does this mean?

You need to phone the CCBC and ask them how to overcome this issue.

It is probable that they will ask you to confirm the AoS by email - use the email address I mentioned in post #51.

i am now getting together my defence after having submitting the AoS in time.(I have been moving house so my computer has been out of action.)

The car in question did have a parking permit supplied by the organisation my ex worked for. However two of the letters in the registration written on the permit have been transposed so insted of CX77FDX the permit reads CX77DFX (not real reg!). Should this form the basis of my defence?

Obviously my ex didn't notice the mistake before she parked. None of the other details on the permit were filled in i.e.permit number, bay number, valid from, valid to or authorised by spaces.

After having phoned my ex it has transpired that the above post was wrong. The permit was for another car park. The ticket had flown off the dashboard and so there was no ticket on display. What can i do now?

Are they pursuing you because you are the keeper not the driver?

In which case they are using Pofa

Though highly unlikely they complied with the regs

Then yes they are using Pofa. I have checked the email sent by bwlegal and it is the case that they are pursuing me as registered keeper. I have not admitted that I was the driver nor have I stated who the driver was.

How do I find out that they are following Pofa as I do not have the Notice to Keeper.
