For most ppc newbies posting here regarding a court claim have never had one before and often comment that the court documents look phoney.

You told us earlier you were binning docs about this from the PPC.

Could the court claim have had the same fate?

In order to win a set aside application you will have to convince the Judge that your cavalier attitude to this didn't include the claim, and that the court are to blame for not issuing it/royal Mail lost it. And that although you binned everything else you definitely didn't ignore the claim

Yeah but I always opened them first then binned them. I never bin anything addressed to me without opening it first. I did not receive the claim form. How many pages would a claim form be? I have been on the look out for it since I got the e-mail and then a printed copy of that e-mail.

Wouldn't the claim form have come straight from the court? The first letter I had from Northampton was the Judgement for claimant I got yesterday

Yes it comes straight from the court in northampton> THEY send it out, not anyone else.

    You will need to show
    1) WHY you did not respond.
    2) That you have a reasonable chance of success.

Why I didn't respond to the parking ticket or to the court case?

Why you didn't respond to the claim from the Court

    Well yes! Obviously!
Imahgine you are a skeptical judge who sees these every day
How do you convinec themn you are telling the truth, and didnt just ignore the claim form?

So, any hisotry of issues with post? If yes, what was done about it such as contacting Royal Mail > Any evidence of this?
Is the V5C correct and up to date, and you have checked this? If you moved in betewren, you woul dneed to show V5 was updated soon, and that you were to be found at your new address
