    :bdaycake: Happy Birthday Dizzy

Since I now know I'm going to be out all week I had better get cracking.

    Happy birthday, Dizzy.:bdaycake:

Definitely worth a listen - and a lunch out, Kaz!

Roundtuit - I'm sure we can find you a spare wheel for your wagon in one of my RoDs. Everything else seems to be stashed in there....

So far today I have done various tedious small jobs, watched the rain, and tried to keep awake. I am out shortly to ferry DD about, and I am lacking a couple of magazines and a seed catalogue to while away the waiting time. It keeps me away from just dropping into Mr T (the nearest shop) and convincing myself that I really need something.

    Back later.

Happy Birthday Dizzy Imp! I hope the water levels are going in the right direction for you to have a relaxing day xx

DH's machine woke me up at 3.15 again because his mask had slipped; he was sleeping so heavily that I couldn't get him to adjust it properly  I have spent the rest of the night on the sofa

    This morning I have
    - ordered DGD1's birthday present
    - got a pile of books for DS2 from the library that is closing down
    - started WMx1

I have various papers to sort, emails to write, something to prepare for church tomorrow, the spare bed to clear (will it ever be done? :o) and a dog to walk in the rain.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Will see you tomorrow, on the new thread if not before xx

Then I'll get dressed and be back with my sleeves rolled up ready to get back on the wagon (3 wheels on my wagon, but I'm still rolling along .... anyone old enough to remember that song :o)
Oh good grief, yes..... But are you "singin' a happy song"? :D

Wishing Dizzy a happy - and dry - birthday. Well, apart from a glass or two of wine, that is. ;)

  • Morning!

Sort of woke up at usual time (yuk!), but promptly went back to sleep for an hour or so, then got dressed, scraped around for a lights wash [strike]before my two white bras turn a hideous colour[/strike], fed felines, looked at stuff that has fallen down in the shed and made the door swing open (and done nothing about it because of vast swathes of cobwebs), made a cuppa and - well, that's it so far today.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Down at the caravan and need to do Monday - Friday pretty much here. The joy of it being our own is it often gets left as we Land late Friday and leave Sunday tea time. Needs gutted out tbh, some of the cupboards need a good sort out too. Shall make a start on the kitchen while I do tea. Plus side is it’s small so less to sort but my hoarding ways mean every space is rammed!!

I have a massive shelf of alcohol that needs decluttered! :j

Might try to get the bed sheets washed tomorrow if the weather stays nice. I have my own in the shed outside so saves me taking it home but rather not spend £4.50 on the site driers
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Hi all

Happy Birthday Dizzy love, hope you are being spoilt xx

Been out with DS for a few last minute bits for college. 3 weeks before he goes and I have to get used to him being away for 6 months. Sooo many mixed emotions, pride for my boy who I was told would never be well enough to work, fear that his illness might stop him following his dreams and a tiny bit of sadness that my little boy is all grown up and making his way in the world.

Going out for a farewell meal tonight as he is off tomorrow to spend most of the next couple of weeks with his girlfriend in her student house.

Flying wise the house isnt too bad, need to run around with the hoover but it can wait until tomorrow. Laundry is mostly up to date.

How's the new job going ATB?

Haven't been around much but been thinking about you all.

    Shopping done
Not as much of list done as I would like but OH had slept most of the day with a headache so I’ve just relaxed more than normal and TBH quite enjoyed it

Decided not to bother going out tonight on site just had a chocolate orange options hot chocolate and I’m wrapped in my tartan shawl as the caravan is chillier than the house. I should probably go sort the days laundry ready to chuck in tomorrow and do the washing up

Set my October budget for grocery based on that I have 2 / 3 full freezers I must kick my own bottom and get them used up! Those who know me know I find this hard, due to my issues with needing to have my stocks piled high when I can afford to

I am contemplating my sewing box and machine. If it goes further than just looking at it, I might even be starting something off my Toots list. The shock of it...

It's amazing what a rainy day can do for you, when you can't get to the garden or the allotment.
