Are houses being dressed professionally?

I HATE LIVE LAUGH LOVE.
Perhaps I could start a trend and write that on my wall.
So glad I'm not the only one. :rotfl:0 -
I'm in my 30s and can't stand Dunelm Decor. It's tacky and why do I need a series of letters on a wall telling me what that room is for, or to 'Live Laugh and Love'. So naff and so many 'younger' people have it. Don't even get me started on generic prints of a beach you've never been to, from Argos or a sunset you've never seen.0

Personally I like to add a touch of class by displaying a picture of a tennis player scratching her !!!!.0

I only ever notice those silly signs in starter homes or new homes on very large estates. Either people can't afford proper decoration because all the money has gone into the house or they have nothing better to do with their time than trail round shops selling such items.0

I am in the age range that these decorations are supposed to appeal to but I can't stand them either. I don't know if this is an Aberdeen thing but a lot of properties for sale have guitars in the photographs. I bet the vendors couldn't strum out Twinkle Twinkle Little Star if their lives depended on it.0

Im another 1 who doesn't like all the crap that are in the photos, sometimes theres too much and it detracts me from showing further interest in a house.0

I keep meaning to get the individual cut-out letters (from Ebay etc) to make P 1 S S and S H 1 T.
It's post-ironic, innit.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
Is this all it takes for it be classed as "professionally dressed"? Is there a degree in it? I could cheerfully spend all day sticking up nonsense about "forget the cake - let there be gin!" and "this is our happy place" and charge a fortune for it. I'd even make sure I kept my vomit down whilst doing it :PShout out to people who don't know what the opposite of in is.0

My brother describes things like "COOK" above the oven, "EAT" above the dining table and "BATHE" above the bath as subtitles for the hard of thinking.
I knew someone who had twee faux wooden (yep, not even real wood) letters that spelled out LIVE LOVE LIFE on a shelf all to themselves. A combination of crossword solver and mischief maker compelled me to rearrange them slightly one day to read EVIL VOLE FILE. It was like that for weeks before she noticed. I, chivalrous as ever, denied all knowledge.
SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0
