A good morning P, well done! It's so nice when you can see things moving.

Hope dd's parents evening goes well and that you get to try some of that cheesecake.

  • Two steps forward, about a million backwards!

New Debt Total - £15,123.90 and that takes into account the payment off the MBNA but does not include the OD in that figure.

Still it could be worse! We are kind of stuck on the £15K mark despite it moving downwards. I AM DETERMINED THAT THE FIGURE ABOVE WILL BE UNDER £10,000 BY CHRISTMAS.....feels better to put that in capitals and bold :)

Next months payday we should see a bigger movement, just can't make anymore overpayments for a while.

Pretty sure that 15 will be a 14 in short order!

Well done on the payments, I agree with Lucifa, you'll be in the 14s before long!

Nice when you can see some progress and thoroughly agree with you prioritising getting rid of that overdraft.

    Thanks lovelies :)

Just having a look and I'm tempted to move the Cap One to the BC as they have a transfer deal that is 0% until 1st Sept and but 0.09% fee applies, it could be cleared by September and we wouldn't have the horrendous Cap One interest to deal with.

I would be tempted to move it too and roll the payments into one. Better the money paid off at 0% than putting anything extra in the CC co's coffers! (that's a LOT of 'c's...:rotfl:)

That's my thinking, we will still be paying interest on the BC for my glasses and the other bit that DH put on but it's got to be better than two lots of interest on small amounts.

Good morning and Happy Friday :D

Balance transfer all done, should be ready by Monday :j signature adjusted to reflect the changes.

Managed to sort the payment thingy out for MBNA too and made a payment, I've not paid as much as I normally would due to the mess up with DH's pay.

Someone I know contacted me last night, the company he works for is looking for a Document Controller and asked if I'd be interested....the project is in Reading, so I of course said yes and sent my CV over, he going to call me Monday to tell me more about it as he's on holiday today.

I need to ring the lass at the other company today too, it's been two weeks today since I last spoke to her, so I'd like to know what's going on with my CV.

Things are going in the right direction...finally!!!
