Morning,
What a wet, miserable day. The motorway was horrendous too. I'm sure Swindon has it's own climate!
Woke up this morning to a nice balance transfer fee refund from Lloyds, that one plus the one towards the end of last year means that all the transfer fee we paid has been refunded So that is another £160 off the debt
Now, you see....I have an odd £40 hanging about and I desperately now want to get rid of it.....but can't...yet
After some calculations we are £10 away from being back in the £14's again. Which by the time the payments come out at the end of the month we will be in :j
Plus paid £6.96 off the BC, so at least something has been rounded
Forgot to mention before that I managed to get DS's mobile spending cap sorted, despite them saying that they couldn't do it. So his number can no longer be used online to make purchases :T
Brought my lunch with me today too.
I have a few personal bits to sort out, but everything is coming together slowly.0 -
It's great to see the debt going down a bit lower
. Well done on sorting out a spending cap, it's amazing what they can do when they want to, despite what they may say!

Evening,
Got my glasses this evening, not 100% sure about them now I've got them. I feel like I'm looking out of a goldfish bowl.0 -
Do you have high index lenses? My DH always needs plastic frames as his lenses are quite thick even when they're high index! Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hi,
Yes but mine although are thick I can have metal frames.
Wearing them this morning, they don't seem as bad but still not comfortable.0 -
Morning,
Thank fudge it's Friday, it has been a long old week this week and I for one am glad that it's the weekend.
Apart from a few bits, I have managed to get the full month's shopping done over the past few days, I just need to then do a few top ups to see us through.
Mother's Day flowers have been ordered for both mums via Quidco, not a lot of cash back from there but I'll still put it towards the CC's when it clears.
I'm holiday next Thursday/Friday as it's my birthday, hoping the weather stays dry so I can do stuff.0 -

Morning and Happy Monday
Had an awful migraine over the weekend, I woke up with it Saturday morning and couldn't shift it until Sunday lunchtime, I was in bed by 9pm Saturday night.
So rather than doing what I wanted to get done over the weekend I ended up dyeing my hair and doing my tapestry.
DH rang earlier to say that the hospital has a cancellation and that they want to see him first thing Wednesday morning at the glaucoma clinic :T
Brought my lunch with me today.
Aiming for a low spend week and I should get a training walk in at some point.0
