I was talking about white Danish bread. That's not filling if it's like the WW Danish.

This bread is very like normal white bread. It's perhaps a bit fluffier?

I checked online and the 'White Danish' from WW is 2.5 syns a slice whereas 'Danish White' from Aldi is also 2.5 syns a slice. Sounds like one of their copies. Neither shows as a HEB.

Have you actually tried it or just seen it in Aldi? :)

Tried it on Sunday. Boy it was nice..... hence why I'm considering it for just an occasional treat.

I like brown bread, but I actually rarely have bread at home. That was probably only the second or third time this year.... no exaggeration. My thoughts were perhaps it could be a healthy(er) treat that I throw in occasionally. Maybe not, I don't know :)

Would be fine as an occasional treat but you'd have to syn it.

Not recovered from Saturday yet, but I am happy for you, beanie. The team is so bad just now, tweets, that hitting them on the bum with a wrecking ball would make no difference. Sorry about Sunday’s result, maman. Oh, I forgot to mention that we came out after the game to find our car had a flat-as-a-pancake tyre! On the bright side a kind young man (40s lol) took pity un us auld yins and changed it for us. That young man was Ian Maxwell, Chief Executive of the SFA. It’s nice to know some people are still level headed.

    Pleased to meet you, Stephenmac.

Well done, tweets and Midge. Great loss, SIRENS; I hope you are feeling much better.

Thanks for the chart, Chrisv and congratulations Stoke.

Not had a good start to the week. Last night was grandson’s birthday (10) and he chose Frankie & Benny’s. I had a good starter (watermelon & feta salad), a not bad main – and a dessert! Today I was out for lunch – nuff said. I had the family for dinner as usual tonight, but I was so stuffed I settled for veg and a glass of diet pepsi. That’ll be me for a few days for socialising, but on Saturday I’m away with the whole family for a week to a cottage in Perthshire. We’ll see. Anyway, I’m posting a happy loss of 1.8lbs for last week.

Soooooooooooo.... Weigh in... Not quite at target yet. 1lbs off and I found out my target is slightly further away. Only half a pound but still. I think I'm now 2.5lbs away from target. I'll aim for 2 next week.

Thanks beanie.... Apparently I'll get a book or something when I'm at target that I'm supposed to use for logging or something? I was never brilliant at my food diary lol :D
