    Hi All
Small loss of for me please -1lb
Strange week again, have been on plan, but working through lunch makes me ravenous when I get in so although I'm eating to plan I think I'm eating a larger portion than normal.
Well work is back to normal from next week so will be able to plan in lunch break so should be a little more stable.

Thanks for the s&s recipe, queengoth. It’s pretty much the same as mine after all. I chuck in heaps of veg too – onion, carrot, pepper, tomato, depends on what’s lurking in the fridge. Thanks for finding that recipe too, Denise.

Well done, TG, SIRENS and Sunflower. Brilliant, beanie.

Better behaved today; still on housework kick (where did that come from>?), but stopped in plenty of time to make dinner.

Breakfast: boiled eggs and hexb soldiers (3)
    Lunch: leftover cottage pie
Snack: Mr Choc hazelnut mini bar (5)
Dinner: penne carbonara (includes hexa allocation), L&F strawberry yogurt (1)
    Snack: grapes, shortbread finger (5)

and to tell the truth I'm a bit miffed, I was expecting a maitain at worst! Yes it's not been perfect, but it's not been bad either.... *grumble grumble grumble* I'm sort of hoping it's left over from star week, and will right itself promptly.

I do however really really need to drink more water and eat more speed. My boyfriend goes mad at me about the water, it's not even that I don't like it I just always reach for tea instead, I really love tea...
And speed, I need to find a way to get it in earlier in the day :/

Well done on the losses folks :T

I'm with you on the tea, I confess I'm not a fan of water, but did make sure to drink plenty...in the summer, now that autumn is here I'm so happy to be drinking more tea again. I do try and include green and rooibos tea, but plain old tea makes me happy (also to be fair it does have water in it?!)

  • I wanted to cry last night at WI, absolutely bloody nothing happened :(, was so upset as I had been totally on plan. Consultant is analysing my food diary & will speak to her manager for suggestions. In the meantime, I have SAS sheets to complete for the week, didn't care when I got home, so had cheese, bread & biscuits:o.

Oh well, today is the start of another week.

    Have a good day everyone

GTQ I think you'll find the SAS log a good tool. It certainly helped me to find what the problem was and to eliminate it, which of course is the important thing. Only took me 3 days not the full week to see where I was tripping up!

I'm trying to stick to plan as much as possible over the next couple of weeks and hoping for a maintain when I next weigh in. I have 4 days at home before I go away for a week and then 3 days before WI. So it will be a case of Good when I can and careful when I can't!

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs on toast
L - jacket potato, beans, salad
D - sausage casserole (I'll be glad to see the back of this as it's made with SW sausages and to be honest neither I nor DH liked them but I'm not prepared to waste food I've paid for). Certainly won't be buying them again!

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - wine:D

:T well done beanie and sirens on your losses.:T

Housework is good Body Magic greentiger!:D

It's really tough when you've been good and don't get a loss or worse still a gain gtq :(but it will come right. Keep plodding, don't sabotage yourself and it will work. It'll be interesting to know if the consultant finds anything or you do with the SAS log.

Saw something similar on TV recently. I've always weighed my cereal when I have it, DH laughs at me but I've got so used to doing it I don't find it difficult to do. The advantage of Weetabix or bread is obvious - no weighing you know exactly what you can have!

    Denise

That's why I've been sticking with Weetabix. DH makes breakfast and I think he'd laugh too if I asked him to start weighing out my cereal.

If I want to save up HEA or it's cold weather, I often have hot Ribena instead of water sirens and pixie.. It's not that I dislike it but it rarely occurs to me to have a cold drink (other than wine:D) in the winter.

Thanks for the sweet and sour recipe denise but I don't have a blender/mixer.:o Because I don't bake and I'm happy with chunky soup (I use a potato masher) then I've never felt the need. What sort would everyone recommend? Definitely don't want anything too big to put away or difficult to clean.

Change of plan again yesterday. It was me that didn't get back until late so I told DH to sort himself out rather than wait to eat until gone 9.30 p.m. My late dinner was all the bits from the fridge (asparagus, tomato, spring onion, potato, mushrooms) in a sort of hash alongside the last egg and a couple of slices of ham and of course some beetroot!:rotfl:

The Bolognese we were meant to have is defrosted in the fridge so we will have it today!

Hardly any fresh food in the house although the freezers are packed so I need to 'shop' from there to do my meal plan later.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: not sure yet, maybe lentil soup
    D: SW tagliatelle Bolognese
    Syns: Parmesan 2, weekend wine!:j

We'll be away from after breakfast tomorrow until Sunday evening so food will be a bit hit and miss but I'll do my best to choose wisely.:)
