That's a bit optimistic, I think the debate on the Stalking Protection Bill will go on for a while yet, even though there are only twenty or so MPs in the chamber.

Hopefully, the Parking bill will be done and dusted by 2:30, as there's nothing controversial in it that any reasonable MP could object to.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

    Not him!

    https://inews.co.uk/news/sir-christopher-chope-upskirting-how-he-voted-gay-marriage-equality-brexit-hunting/

Voting Leave was the only thing I agree with him about...everything else in that synopsis of his voting pattern/opinion is shocking and if he shouts ''object'' he will have the public to answer to, if he blocks this Bill.

Chope is a real stickler for protocol and parliamentary tradition, often disrupting other members' private bills if he feels, or has been informed that they haven't gone through the correct due process.

The fact he is supporting and contributing to this particular bill would indicate that there is very little chance of it being disrupted at this stage.

(stalking bill still being discussed as I write)

The discussion about the Stalking Bill has made me quite upset, because if this was around in 2016 the Police would not have been so frustrated when dealing with my stalker.

I can tell you first hand that stalking (non-relationship bullying, harassment and stalking by some git online who also found out where I work and contacted them maliciously, about me) is no fun and repeat perpetrators need throwing in jail.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Stalking Protection Bill passed third reading unopposed.

Sir Greg now introducing the debate on the Parking Bill.

They're not being particularly complimentary about the industry as it stands, are they?!
