    Rogue Traders under notice,

No longer any point in the IPC apart from DVLA access

No guarantee of success for the cowboys

No point in the IAS. Empty desk at Gladstones ?

The BPA must ensure their members comply. What will they do
    about SMART parking ???

One notable observation, nobody got up to defend the so-called "parking industry".
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

The suport from the SNP is reassuring, and also that the bill will apply in Sctoland - so even though Keeper Liability is still not applicable, at least people North of the border can have access to a standard appeals body, and the operators work to the same standards as in England & Wales.

Peter Wishart is going to town at Smart Parking about the Kinoull Street car park.

But that may depend on what is contained in the recently announced Transport (Scotland) Bill. If it is based on Murdo Fraser's earlier proposals we could see keeper liability north of the border.

Excoriating criticism from both Perth members re Smart Parking.

One was Kinoull St Multi Story, but I think there was reference to Strothers Lane Inverness - between those two sites, both run by Smart parking, I have just over 1100 tickets on file...

Smart Parking were noticeably singled out by a number of speakers today

Stop quoting the BPA rhetoric though, Rishi Sunak. Pathetic to mention the BPA as if they matter.

The BPA can stay in the Gobi desert now. their job will be

    1: Monitor their scam members
    2: Enable DVLA access

    The POPLA JOKE ENDS

As the IPC/IAS will become a white elephant, will the BPA allow their defectors back.?

With a real independent appeals service, Gladstones and BWLegal will be pleased to know that their work load will be cut ?
Not forgetting DRP .... they will save a fortune on bog paper
  • it actually needs to go further , its obvious that the BPA and IP??? cannot control there members it needs an independent assoc to allow (or not) access to DVLA

    100% AGREED

But when have the IPC ever tried to control their members. That is frowned upon in a scam club

  • That's the second reading from February. Hansard is efficient, but not that quick!
Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
