Hi and hope everyone is well. I know I may do some people’s heads in as advice was always ‘ignore letters until LBC’ but two years after not hearing anything I receive another debt collectors letter?! Is this normal? I presumed (obviously too hopefully) that this had all gone away. Do I still just ignore? Again I apologise if I annoy anyone with this post, it has just come completely out of the blue and thrown me! Thanks in advance

Ignore debt collectors letters.
Times are hard for these parking companies and they and their hangers on are trawling through their back catalogues trying to convince innocent victims to help them eek out a living.
You know what to do. It's been said before.3 -
Thank you for your reassurance. I did think that but just wanted to check as it’s been so long. You’re right. My first thought was how awful of them to be chasing this up again in the current climate we are in. Shocking. Thanks again 👍🏻1

yes its normal, the claimant has up to 6 years to try a court claim, so in the intervening time they send stupid powerless debt collection letters, especially when they are skint in a pandemic !! IGNORE the debt collection letters , diarise 6 years from the incident date

Please stick around and add your online comments on the two consultations now open to the public. These make up the Govt specification and framework that will form the new statutory Code of Practice:

Your voice needs to be heard. The layer of artificial fake costs needs stamping out and the level of parking charges is too high IMHO.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
