Turn around time from application was 3 weeks with the biggest delay caused by me with submitting docs.We are using our own solicitor and they have their own to represent them. Wondering how long this can take overall? Our searches are already back, and the title deed is being drafted up. Fingers crossed it happens quick! Want to exchange asap
Just wanted to say Pepper didn't post our offer to us. After valuation they phoned us for a security check then a few days later they emailed us our offer letter.
We printed it, signed it, scanned it, then emailed it back to them as requested.
A copy was eventually received in the post but it was sent to us by our broker and not Pepper.

Our valuation got done on Friday, had a call from pepper yesterday confirming details and bank details to set up direct debt for mortgage payment and it was being sent for final review. MA just rang and said they've asked for more information that the under writer should have already asked for apparently they need 6 months proof of paying rent whereas only gave 3 so sent another 3 bank statements to show rent payments. Has this happened to anyone and caused more issues them querying more things! Felt like things were moving but now feel worried something else is going to go wrong!!!0

Hi and Happy New Year everyone!
I just wanted to let you know how amazing Pepper Money is! We had so many problems with our solicitors... sale was agreed in June, we were going with different lender but in July or August swapped to Pepper. We received offer on 31.08. Our solicitor were incompetent causing delays. Every time I rang Pepper they were polite and gave me all information I needed. Our offer expired, we got 1 month extension (within a couple of hours) with even better rate. We finally completed on 21.12, and again Pepper sent money much faster than normal due to our solicitors being incompetent.
I can't praise Pepper enough, they and their solicitors been amazing!0 -
Hey everyone - does anyone have a timeline for Pepper money. So far we have:
02.02.22 - DIP
12.02.22 - application submitted
15.02.22 - hard search on Credit file
And now nothing (I know only 4 days) but I’m so nervous, our broker said it would take two weeks from application to booking valuation….if they were going to reject us when full application went in, when would we know?0 -

25.3.22 broker submits application.
Same day hard search on Credit file and broker comes back to say pepper money requested a letter from my workplace, confirming my start date which I promptly sent back same day. Again its only been a few days, but very anxious to know what could be happening in the background, or have we been declined, its all pure torture.
We also applied for the help to buy first time equity loan and this was done by broker on 24. 3.22 but again not heard back. Apologies for bringing my anxieties on here, its just that the waiting is stressful 😂..0 -

Hi all a small update. Valuation went through yesterday and the report has come back fine. Broker has advised we will hear back from lender within 48hrs, and we're now even more anxious. At what point does Pepper normally call, to confirm details etc? Also at this point what is likely to go wrong, as I assume that valuation is only requested when they have all they need?0

Hey Guys, apologies I have a timeline now
10/02/22 - DIP
14/02/22 - application submitted
14/02/22 - hard search done
25/02/22 - pepper requested reasons for defaults, reasons for Ccjs, gifted deposit proof, account numbers for credit cards, proof of child DLA and their name & age.
07/03/22 - reason for an amount of £1k deposited in bank account - to make sure it was not a loan.
08/03/22 - Security call from Pepper.
09/03/22 - Formal offer received & accepted.
31/03/22 - Contracts exchanged
22/04/22 - Completion date confirmed.
I hope this helps, my credit situation was not ideal (3 defaults, 3 ccjs) we are paying a higher rate than the high street but Peppers rate was the lower of all the adverse mortgages. Highly recommend:)
