"When I saw my coach the following week and told her about this, I let her know that she could have helped me with this. I also informed her that she got a few other important facts wrong."

However much of an !!!! your JC coach is (and there is always the option of making a complaint if you wish,) if you need them onside there are far better ways to go about it than this.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

There are so many flags peppered through the posts that point to the OP being the problem...

In fairness if you want to start a business then creating a business plan would seem a sensible first step.

Exactly, not just for the NEA but for any potential new business.

Its best to try and not annoy your work coach as they often(not always) specialise in being unreasonable. Its about being smart about what to say and what not to say. They are just something people have to deal with if signing on.
I would only consider action of some sort if they were being very bad towards you. If theres specific help you need that they aren't providing then its best to look for another way to achieve the aim.

There isn't too much previous posting history to not be worth trawling through. The OP seems to have attempted to set up businesses on at least two previous occasions. With the best will in the world, there's a reason they are still talking about it if they can't work out a business plan or do simple accounts. There are, after all, dozens of internet sites and agencies that specifically help with such things. But they still expect someone else to do it for them. The OP needs to be able to show what they have learned from previous, failed, attempts. Or recognise that this is not an avenue that is for them and make real efforts to find employment.

Whilst I understand that they have challenges, the posts are peppered with "it's all someone else's fault". The work coach is no good, CAB are no good, they're in debt, they're suffering a mental illness, they are 60... it's all the fault of some Africans. The OP needs to do as they said themselves - get their teeth into something and not give up easily. These are all things that can be fixed. You can learn to do a business plan. You can learn to do basic accounts. You can stop criticising your work coach and get on with them. You can get debt advice and support to arrange payments. And older people, people with disabilities, do get into employment. But you really have to want it.
  • Wow.

And to think when hubby started his business, after being made suddenly redundant, 18 years ago we had to survive on my (part time) salary.
  • they've told you what you need to do

    you're refusing to do it

then you are moaning they aren't helping

anyone can construct a creative writing exercise called "business plan", just get on with it...

So I have a six month period of reduced payments, and then I am supposed to believe that I will have a profitable business ...That's pushing it a bit by anybody's imagination.

I really can't think of a business that would be unprofitable for over a year and yet require no capital at all to set up?
I always understood that it takes an average of three years before a small business starts to show profit

Yes but that does not make it the governments responsibility to fund every person who wants to set up a new business for three years.

These businesses you are talking about run off investment capital. Not JSA!

The job centre will help me make a business plan and all the other necessities. They also help with basic bookkeeping - something I am not good at.

So why is your post headed 'Job Centre not helping'? They seem to be offering exactly what you need.

Although I understand you love 'trawling ' through other people's posting history , I fail to see what that has to do with anything.

Starting businesses is not easy and there are hundreds (possibly thousands) of successful businesses being run by people that failed initially so you shouldn't belittle the OP for that. It's easy to judge as an employee but if you start your own venture even you may learn a new thing or two. The OP wants advice, I thought this was the place to get such advice? Instead, certain members 'trawl' through their old posts with the intention of virtually assassinating them.

What weird lives some people lead.
