First check in for me, after a lovely sunday.

Set your budgets now. Still got to swap my energy supplier
Use up. Dinner was yellow sticker chicken out of the freezer
NSDs - no money spend here today 1/15NSD
Spread some sunshine - be kind to others, help out friends, neighbours, colleagues and strangers. Share your tales of any random acts of kindness.
Healthy eating - urgh, have eaten way too much cake and biscuits today (really bad)
Invest in yourself. Finally sorted out the laundry room, which seems a weird invest in yourself but I've been wanting to do it for a while.
No spending on takeaways, drinks out, etc unless prearranged and budgeted for. none
Exercise - long dog walk on the beach today with friends
    Trying to keep in budget.

Invest in yourself - gardening today. Relaxed watching a film with OH tonight.

    Hi all:j

Slept in today probably due to all the exercise walking around yesterday! Didn't feel I got very much done, but when I think about it, I probably did..need to get on with it as it looks like we will be going away again in September so lots of jobs to get done before then..

Set your budgets now. Pay to your debts/savings first and live off the rest. Make sure you're on the best deals for utilities, phones, broadband, etc. Are there any areas in your budget that you could cut down on? Have got up spreadsheet to fill in, so that's a start made. Definitely areas of cutting down on spending, mainly to be eating the produce we have in already in the pantry/larder/cellar/fridges/freezers. DD is the same - she admitted that she had 17 tins of tuna in the pantry, which is bursting at the seams, plus a freezer ditto (and still goes shopping several times a week)

Use up. Have a look through your cupboards and identify any food that's been lurking there for a while and incorporate it into a meal plan. Likewise toiletries, any half opened bottles - use before opening/buying more. Much food is lurking in the house...also found more toiletry items today whilst clearing up some stuff in the bedroom. Got out a YS chicken for tomorrow which is defrosting in the fridge.

NSDs - there are 30 days in September so a minimum of 15 or 20 for a harder challenge. Usual exemptions for ys items, petrol and medical expenses. DD & DH went shopping again today so not an NSD. Still 0/15

Spread some sunshine - be kind to others, help out friends, neighbours, colleagues and strangers. Share your tales of any random acts of kindness. Was kind to DD when she asked for help with her budgeting - she also had a plan to get herself out of her OD & into the black, plus get through her manual driving test as she realises it is holding her back at work.

Healthy eating - up your fruit and veg intake, quit snacking between meals or choose healthier options. Had several lots of fruit today & some veg with dinner. Will continue to up veg intake & try to lose some weight.

Invest in yourself. Make sure you take the time to do things that you enjoy. Try something new that you've always wanted to do. Enjoy being outside mostly so that is something I can do daily. Need to spend some time on myself though as always rushed when going anywhere. Have family meal out next Sat which will be a test, DD not able to come as looks like it will be friends funeral same day:(

No spending on takeaways, drinks out, etc unless prearranged and budgeted for. No takeaways today.

Try to find free activities to do. Will do.

Exercise - it won't be long before the darker nights start drawing in so make the most of it while you can. Get outdoors for walk/run/cycle even if only for 10 minutes. Out in garden today for about 2 hours, mainly picking fruit ready to freeze. Now have more blackberries, redcurrants & elderberries, plus apples are ready too. Will be busy with that lot, luckily can freeze initially so not so pressured.

    Morning all,

Spendy day yesterday on birthday flowers for my mum, top up shop and drinks for my mum’s birthday meal.

Acquired back a spare fold out bed that I lent my sister as she was throwing it out. That solves my worry that someone might need to stay the night and I have nowhere to put them (it’s only happened a handful of times in the 8 years I’ve lived here but I’ve got rid of my spare double bed to make that room into my office)

Off to Ikea today with my friend to buy bits for their nursery.

    Have a lovely day

DDs friend is okay but her mum gave me an ear bashing (won't go into it here but wasn't very pleasant).

Oops! Have a pervy hug - been on the receiving end of one of those once - :grouphug: (an ear bashing, not a pervy hug).

Yesterday was not a NSD as I went out YS hunting (20p for 5 NY bagels, 8p for 6 pittas) but other bits fell into the trolley. Boo! £15 spend. So paid up all the after school clubs.
Should rack up a few from now on.

So yesterday we went food shopping and for about 2 weeks qorth of food including packed lunch stuff it came to £65 not too bad. We also ate out for lunch but as I was hoping to onlt spend £100 on food shopping and we used a voucher on the Harvester app I was still within budget so that was good!

Today should be my first NSD day last night I mqde myself pesto chicken pasta salad and have put it in my bento box along with grapes and a banana as well as a big bottle of water also as the partner likes getting maccies if he works overtime on a weekend I saved the bus vouchers that have the deal on the back so he can use that and save money.

Should also probably add my food shopping meals were based around what I had in the cupboard already and im gunna be using up a lot of it for lunches/breakfasts.

Im also going to try and pamper myself a bit tonight pop a facemask on and relax a bit

    Good Morning all :)

Set Budgets- £150 in spends & £350 in savings. appreciate this is a little tight, however, hub goes away in 2 weeks and I am able to spend very little while he isn't here. The kids now get fed at nursery 4 days a week too so when he isn't here I can just do crumpets etc for supper. be fine.
Use up - love this one, always on a mission to use things up, I currently have a tub of moisturiser on my desk at work to make me use it. on my hit like this week is a bag of Couscous which I need to use. will google recipes on my lunch :D
NSD's- aiming for 15. I am on 1. will aim to be on 5 by the end of the week :)
Spread some sunshine- I will think of something :)
Healthy eating- healthy food planned for today :)
Invest in yourself- I will be taking some time to knit later. I was to knit a pumpkin Garland for my sons Halloween Party and I find it relaxing (sometimes ha)
No Takeaways- no room in the budget for takeaways anyway, might do Pizzas after my run on Sunday but they will be Aldi.
    Excersize- Running & Yoga tonight.

Feeling pretty happy at the moment, nice to have a small amount of money back in our emergency fund. A lot less planned as we gear down from summer which is nice too, just need to keep plugging away.:)

The mouse is now fully operational again so I'm back again. Needed a new battery apparently. I didn't even know it had a battery! Told you I was useless with technology.

Did buy some YS food yesterday but that was all so NSD No 1/20

Had YS chicken for dinner and already had all the veg. Used up the very last drops of a bottle of eye cream and shower gel. I thought that was me down to the last shower gel but I've discovered some that the boy left so whether it says it's for men or not I'm using it up. It's for sensitive skin and there's no manly fragrance.

Had fruit for breakfast yesterday and today and salad for lunch, Was a bit naughty with the roast chicken and stuffing but had steamed veg instead of roast potatoes.

Went for a three mile walk, read a few chapters of my book and watched some television. Think I should take up another hobby but I'm not very practical or artistic and I truly hate anything to do with exercise.

Does making curries for the Boy's freezer and doing his washing and ironing count as being kind or is that just what mother's do? I guess it's just what mother's do.

Today is a bit of a write off. I'm waiting for the heating engineers to come so can't get on with cooking or washing and I can't go for a walk as I don't know when they will appear. I don't actually know why the're coming. The boiler is new and is working perfectly but the gas safety check man wants them to have a look at something.

    Have a good day.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
