            Hi all
I have court hearing date on 9th April hence need to submit my witness statement by tomorrow latest I’m thinking ? Received witness statement off Gladman all 60 odd pages of it so uploaded only the written statement attached. Please can I get the forum help:
 - Is there a template witness statement available which covers the generic points that I can add the relevant case points too ?
 - Am I allowed to ask the court to postpone the date if its difficult for me to make i.e. make it out of school holidays child care commitments etc ?0
-
Have you only just found out about this court date in two weeks time?
Surely you have known for some months that a Witness Statement would be needed.
After posting nothing for six months, absolutely crazy that you are now, just one day before your WS is due, asking about how to create one.
Sorry, the best I can do is to refer you once again to post #2 of the NEWBIES thread and look at the example Witness Statements there.
 Good luck.
Also, you may have missed post #70 above.0

What is interesting is that the solicitor WS focuses heavily on photos of all the signage / locations etc within the actual car park areas, I have pointed a pencil to where I was parked on the run up slip road way before entering the actual car park areas this must be something I can take advantage of ?0

Please can anyone help with these questions :-

Yes, as you were already told, in the NEWBIES thread.
I tell you there, what sort of thing to say, with linked examples, and what items of evidence to include in your file that you will be taking BY HAND to your local court tomorrow before noon (and emailing to the Claimant's solicitors).
Please just go to the NEWBIES thread and do a Control & F search for the word 'witness'.
Too late, you should have done that in your DQ. Stop being scared, stop putting it off and trying to wriggle out of it, and right now, face it.Am I allowed to ask the court to postpone the date if its difficult for me to make i.e. make it out of school holidays child care commitments etc ?

            Thanks for that.
Can I email the WS to the court unable to take by hand ?0
-
            No you can't.
The CCBC central email is not involved now, it's at your local court and you CANNOT expect them to print out your WS and evidence. You will have to ask a friend or family member to take your file in, once you've ordered it nicely.
 Boy, you left it late.
This is all covered in the NEWBIES thread including why to put your WS and evidence in a file, a ring binder, etc., so the Judge gets a decent looking submission and everything is in there, all numbered and ordered.
How did you miss reading ahead months ago to learn this and prepare for it?
Oh dear, this is not what we advise and win or lose, this will not be one that counts towards our tally as you didn't stick around. We will help you and we want you to win but this is not a forum-assisted one per se, as you walked your own path for 6 months in silence then flew back in a panic.
Hope you manage to do it.
We will help, of course but you urgently need to show US your WS draft, and your list of numbered evidence you plan to submit with it (see the NEWBIES thread for tips).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
