How do you not know the answers to these questions already, give you allegedly had an identical one before the M2 for 7 years?

Game updates changed the car specifications maybe ;)

Not the worlds luckiest family are they?
    • Had a RX8-PZ for 7 years and blew the engine out of it this year.
    • Bought a £35,000 M2 (for cash) and had it written off.
    • Bought another RX8-PZ which is rotten, has the wrong suspension, a noisy diff and is burning more oil than a small south american country - and now seems to have forgotten everything about his previous RX8-PZ tenureship including average mpg, etc, etc.
    • His wife wrote of her Megane earlier in the year.

I havent had that much bad luck with cars across my entire life.

Although my gut feeling is that all of it (bar the current !!!! heap) is imaginary.

Just to confirm I'm getting around 21mpg around town and 25-30mpg on a run. Is this normal? Besr in mind I do drive quite hard but even when I drive sedately the mpg only goes up by 5mpg.

Reading up online, it's recommended to use Castrol Power 1 as a fuel pre mix and 99RON fuel? Will this help increase the mpg?
I currently alternate between normal and premium unleaded and occasionally add 50-100ml 10w40 mineral oil for a full tank as premix.
The engine also burns more oil than I thought. I'm currently topping up the oil by about half to a full litre of 10w40 semi synthetic on every second petrol station visit.
My journey will be increasing in the coming weeks meaning I will be doing more motorway mileage and I need to find a way to get more mpg
for what its worth. i only ever got 30mpg @ 55mph on the motorway.

a litre of oil every 1500 miles seems to be about what i was getting, you want it to use oil, if it doesn't, the seals aren't being lubricated. but what you state is too much.

premixing wont help with mpg, but will help with longevity, i couldn't be bothered personally.

Oh i think he owns this car - and lets be honest, the loose change down the back of your settee would buy this car so not a great achievement - but not a pups chance this guy had a £35K M2 that he bought for cash and then wrote it off.
PZ for loose change behind the settee, I think you sir is a little bit delusional. Are you aware of the insurance, road tax and running costs of even a standard RX8?

take a photo of your phone or something else with this forum on, and your car in the same shot, i.e. stick your laptop on the roof and photograph it, then upload it.

Sure will get this done. When I prove you wrong will you actually provide helpful car advice?

I thought the custard test actually needs some custard!

Put a tin of Birds on the dashboard and snap away. Afterwards you can use it as premix.

yeah but i would think it would be easier to find a picture of that online and thus fake it, also requires purchasing stuff (unless you have custard of course)
