As has been said go for it. The interview is just as much for you to ask about the role as they ask if you're right for it and you can turn it down. Have your cake and eat it.

Thank you, yes, the person who approached me is the MD and currently line managing me, so he knows both roles inside out (and designs the structure!). I will talk to him again next week.


Yes, one month of struggling is definitely better than two! I'm glad I went for it. It was too much a risk that I dipped into the money.

It was raining first thing, but due to be sunny for the rest of the day, so assuming it's on, we are planning to do a car boot later. We've agreed that I will sell and DH will take the kids onto the beach. Hopefully that will avoid any selling related disputes

I'm going to try and find a few more things to list for me, I've got a massive pile of listings for DH and I want to catch up with surveys to get some extra cash this month.

Also I need to catch up with my debt totals! I guess I won't get my confirmation that it's paid off until next week now, which is a shame. I don't think it will sink in til then!

Just cashed out a £10 amazon voucher from a survey site and closed the account :T It was related to the same one I closed recently, so had the same issues around filling out loads of repetitive questions before you even got to the survey. It's a shame as that site used to be one of my favourites, I don't know why they've recently started doing that.

Trying to list away again.

We did the car boot sale yesterday, not a great one, but we haven't got a huge amount of stuff. We took more than the pitch fee and the kids had a great time playing on the beach so that's good. I don't think I'll do one tomorrow, doesn't seem much point.
