I feel inclined to think that you should go for the new promotion because you may regret it if you don't. But it has to be your decision of course.
I'll try and sit down at the weekend and sort out my new totals. I've been rushing around so haven't had time to think it through yet!WannabeFree wrote: »We cross posted sorry
Amazing news on the F&F. :j :j :j

Thank youThat's a good point, I haven't been interviewed for years! However, I don't really want to be interviewed by my colleagues

Despite me having ambitions to be super frugal with groceries, I overspent again this morning  I did buy cat food which will last the month, and replaced a couple of things that had run out, and won't need replacing again for a bit but still...
I am wavering on the job again. I've been sitting here this morning, doing various things, and thinking 'I wouldn't be doing this any more' and I genuinely feel sad about that. Because my job has changed significantly in the last year or so, I'm still challenged by it, and am enjoying it. There are some really exciting things coming up too. I'm going to try and have another chat about it next week. I wish I could do both jobs! (For both lots of pay of course)
I galloped around yesterday after making the F&F payment, so I haven't really had time to think about it much. I'll try and sit down over the weekend and see how things lie now
2lb off last night :j Just 1/2lb from a stone now :T"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

The person who suggested you go for promotion, would they be the sort of person you could talk to about your dilemma? Talk through your passion for both roles?
As has been said go for it. The interview is just as much for you to ask about the role as they ask if you're right for it and you can turn it down. Have your cake and eat it.
You did the right thing on the f&f - you had more money than you thought you would and it's better to have one tight month than two. Once you're out the other side of this month it's over. Next month you can relish your pay rise and that extra £1 you won't be paying to them anymoregreat work jwil xxx
