Well done on the weight loss.......I'm dreading weigh in as I think I've ate my weight in food this Xmas period :rotfl:
I'm not sure it will be the same this week :rotfl:HairyHandofDartmoor wrote: »You haven't been able to pay much off the debt in 2018, but you had to get a car and do work on the house. Hopefully 2019 will be a year when you make massive inroads into the debt.
It's a shame you can't accept a F&F offer, but if they offer once then they'll offer again.
Thank you. I can't stop thinking about the F&F. It's one of my lowest debts so I'm tempted to go in with a low offer and see what they say. If they reject it I'm no worse off, but it would be nice to see something gone!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Payday today, hurrah! And my account isn't empty as soon as everything has been paid :T :T :T
I suddenly remembered I need to ensure tax credits are updated with the new childcare, hoping I don't end up with a big overpayment this year. There's only three months left and my wages will be less than predicted due to some unpaid leave so hopefully not!
I've done a comparison for house insurance (the renewal only went up by £2) and it seems we are still on a very good deal, that's unusual! So I've managed to pay that in full so pleased about that.
I really need to get the SOA done so that I can properly start putting money back for the annual things and have a proper functioning budget.
16 parcels posted today, all using packaging I scavenged from the office move. That has been taking up a fair amount of space so has cleared a lot of that :T
We've still got our tree etc up. I'm not itching to take it down this year like normal. It must be because of how clear the front room is compared to previous years.
A 50p overpayment to the mortgage today, just rounding up the monthly payment.
I've paid the gas and electric and looked to see if we can get a better deal with our existing supplier - we can't. I might look elsewhere but I refuse to have a DD so not sure we'll get anywhere.
Still got to do the phone/tv/broadband, but I'm pretty sure we are in contract til Feb so not an urgent thing.
We are off to the dentist in a minute, fingers crossed nothing needed!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
