Thank youI have read your diary and you seem so organised
I love your list do you do all that in one day or is it tasks for a few days
Thanks for readingI wish I was more organised!
I will take a few days to do it all, it would be nice to get it all done in one day but I'm too lazy for thatBloomin Nora. You've put me to shame. Do you ever stop? Your eBay break was like 3 minutes! How did you do on sales? 10 sounds amazing. Anything big or old listings go? I like it best when your old listings go.
Glad Christmas was a success. And glad you had friends and family around you. We've got the cough here too. It's horrid. I'm hoping for both our sakes it clears soon.
I wish I had your decluttering mojo. I'm planning on giving some stuff to the pre-school and mummy and me groups but I've got to wait til they open. Merry Christmas xx
Merry Christmas to you tooI hope the cough goes soon, DH's had it for a few weeks, the kids seem to be better though, mostly snotty now.
They were all DH sales as I don't have much on at the moment. But they were all old stuff :T I like it when that goes too
All the stuff stresses me out so that keeps my decluttering mojo going! I do have stuff that I'm avoiding though and should tackle that. It's so satisfying seeing space appearing!
That's a good idea to give stuff to preschool etc."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

I've been grocery shopping this morning and bought a load of the cheap veg to pop in the freezer.
We are going to have curry tonight which should use the last of the turkey. I've still got a fair bit of gammon left, I'm going to make lentil soup, minestrone soup and gammon and sprout risotto with it for the freezer. I'll have some for lunch too.
Does anyone have any good recipes for leftover gammon? I'd rather turn it into something than just freeze it. DH bought a massive one this year, it's too big really, we'll remember for next year.
I'm about to take the kids out to meet some friends. Hopefully will be able to tackle the list when we get back.
DH has 4 non payers on his ebay sales. Will send reminders today and hope they pay up! I hate having stuff hanging around. I did 12 listings for him yesterday, I'll have to find some stuff for me too!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I don't work due to health so could never keep that up
Was going to invite you round to mine to help organise me
You will have to come on holiday and stay in the annex :rotfl::rotfl:Emergency fund £10,000

I'm not that efficient :rotfl: It's more to try and remind me of things that need doing. I'm lucky if I tick off more than a couple.
I'm getting more organised than I used to be. I'll come and have a holidayThe Marie Kondo books have really helped me with the organisation as much as the decluttering, it's made a huge difference to me!

Hi Jwil, just wanted to wish you a belated Happy Christmas.
Glad you and the littlies had a lovely Christmas day, I also have left over gammon going to use some in a carbonara tonight and hopefully the rest will be used up tomorrow with some fried potatoes, grilled mushrooms/tomatoes and a fried egg, not the healthiest meal but very yummy.0 -

Thanks penny, hope you all had a good one too.
We had gammon, egg and chips last night, the carbonara's a good idea though. I might do that tomorrow. I think that should be enough to use it up. Thank you!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I've just done my spreadsheet for next year. Jiggled things around a bit to make it easier to read and added in a couple of bits that weren't in there.
This year I have paid £256 off my debts. Not a lot especially as about £200 of that was a refund. I knew I wouldn't though, and it probably won't be a lot different next year.
I did have to get a new car so money has gone towards paying that. Also the house stuff that needed doing so I've paid a total of £2774 towards all of these things. That's not too bad considering there's nothing spare each month. :T
Next year, my first priority will be to get the rest of the money towards the house stuff. If we don't get some of the jobs done, it will cost us more in the long run. Second priority will be emergency fund of £1000. I will also try and PAD towards the mortgage.
I had a letter from one of my creditors offering a F&F discount (unspecified) but I don't have any funds at the moment, so they will have to wait until after everything else is sorted."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
