If you did manage the £50, you'd then want to have 40% cleared and would put yourself under even more pressure. Cut yourself some slack. It's all going in the right direction.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. They don't deserve the extra £50. If you've actually got it put it in the mattress fund. I don't think you do with the extra expenses on for this month anyway. This is an order. Any overpayments might rock the boat.
Well done on pumpkins

You are both absolutely right, thank you! I have many more things I should be spending it on - mattresses and emergency funds. In reality - Nursery bills.
Yes, INOD - I would also want to get to 40%"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Not sleeping at the moment, it's really hectic at work and I've got a lot of urgent deadlines. My head keeps swimming with all the things I need to be doing. I got up early this morning and prepped some listings for me, and did some for DH. It means that I've got something to go on when I get a sec, and hopefully some more of DH's stuff will sell and leave the house.
I must get off here and get on with my work, then maybe I could sleep again tonight!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Do you write things down when you have a lot to do? I find when I get in this state a quick list takes a lot of pressure off. If the tasks are big I break them into manageable pieces. That way if I tick even one tiny step off I feel the progress.26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

Hi Lucifa, good suggestion, thank you. I go through phases of lists, but haven't done one for a while. I think breaking it down into small chunks might be a good idea, as it's one project but lots of aspects to it. Thank you, I'll give it a go"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
