Tumble drier is arriving today (hopefully!) hurrah!
I've got a few bids on things going out at the weekend so that's good. A few non payers too, so that's not good
I'm really struggling at the moment, my anxiety is through the roof and I'm not sleeping well. If it doesn't settle down soon, I think I'll have to visit the docs.
Hope the tumble drier arrived. You can't beat freshly tumble dried towels - they're sooo fluffy!!
Well done on the sales. Hope the non-payers hurry up and pay you.
Sorry to hear that you're struggling at the moment. Are you still doing your morning walks?xLBM Aug 2017.

Sorry about your anxiety. Is there any particular thing that has triggered it do you think?
Thank you, it did
I don't know what triggers it, I think it's usually when I'm tired and feeling overwhelmed. This time it's worse than usual. I think I've just got a lot going round in my head, it affects my digestion, and I start catastrophising everythingAdventureWanted wrote: »Hope the tumble drier arrived. One of the things I am looking forward to is soft towels!
I haven't been doing my walksI've been sleeping so badly that I haven't been able to get up and go. The dark isn't helping. I feel so rubbish about it, and know it would make me feel better, I just can't drag myself out. I am so close to finishing couch to 5k as well, I don't want to stop it!

I slept a bit better last night, which has helped a bit. I'm trying to tick off a few small jobs to try and get some stuff out of my head.
I've done a load of listings for DH this week, hopefully it will all sell. I'm sure all the 'stuff' weighs me down too and adds to my anxiety."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". When I feel like that I make a list of all the things I'm anxious about. Then I review them and decide whether they're legitimate worries or silly worries. For example, being in debt is a legitimate worry, but worrying that your friend hasn't invited you around recently is a silly worry. For the legitimate worries I write down possible solutions eg try and raise income, etc.
I find doing this gives me perspective, plus an illusion of control!
You will also sleep better and feel less anxious if you exercise. Even if you sleep badly get up early anyway and go for your run, then you'll sleep really well the next night and will run off a lot of angst. You never regret it if you exercise, but you always regret it if you don't.
This works for me anyway.

Thank youI'm not worrying about anything in particular, but a 'to do' list might help get stuff out of my head. My biggest issue is my anxiety turns me into a bit of a hypochondriac and I start thinking every little twinge is a big issue and if the kids are ill, I think I might be missing something serious. My rational mind knows this is silly but the little voice on my shoulder keeps saying 'what if'. The Nhs have some CBT apps which look like they would help and I should do them, but it's yet another thing on my endless 'to do' list.
I know the exercise would help, I keep trying to tell myself that. The issue has mainly been I'm awake through the middle of the night, and then sleep through the time I should be getting up to do it. I must make more effort!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
