A few more items sold overnight, so another 9 parcels posted today :T
Although it's dry, we didn't feel like car booting today, so instead have pulled everything out and gone through it all. We've sent a load of stuff to charity, another load to bin/recycling centre and not far off halved what was in the van :T :T The kids think that going to the recycling centre and posting all our plastic in the banks is the funnest thing in the world so they were happy
DH bought me some flowers yesterday :smileyhea and I was fed up with not having anywhere to put them. So I've cleared and cleaned the top of the unit in the front room and have now got somewhere to display stuff (as long as it stays clear!). It looks much better.
Slow progress but still progress!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

It really does, it's quite amazing!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
We had a busy day yesterday, went car booting in the morning, I bought the kids some clothes, then we took them up to the Gromit Round Up where they have all the statues together. The kids loved it. We then popped in to see my sister and her family, so they enjoyed playing with their cousins.
I'm struggling at the moment, feeling down and overwhelmed by everything again. I think I'm just tired. I've lost my motivation again. I'm sure it will be back soon, once I can catch up on a few things.
Hope everyone is well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I'm sorry you feel overwhelmed at the moment. I'm feeling that way too. New implant and the kids being back at school- new routine and they are sooo grumpy. And I'm so tired. It will pass. Things will settle down. And I think part of it for you is that you've made so much progress - you don't need to maintain that momentum. And remember we are waiting for your creditors to get bored of waiting for money. That's a hard thing to feel determined about.
You're doing brilliantly jwil. You put me to shame. You do way more than I do - park run, constant post office and car boot runs, always doing lovely things with your kids, always making over payments to your mortgage and saving pots and NEVER GIVING UP! You're golden jwil. You'll be back up again soon. I know it.Loan 1 £5200/£8000
Loan 2 £300/£5800
Total £5500/£138000 -

Morning everyone.
I've got a stinking cold and have got a presentation to do later. That's going to be so attractive! Feeling a bit grotty.
I'm feeling guilty as I haven't run for a week, I've only got 6 more runs to do to finish couch to 5k, and I just haven't got the motivation. I hope it returns soon, it would be ridiculous for me to get so far through it, especially when I can see how much I've improved. I don't think the weather is helping.
It seems to be silly season on eBay again now, with timewasters, moaners and stupid people! Sometimes I just can't be bothered with it all. However, now is also the time to sell, so I shall plod on trying to get DH to get stuff listed.
I did the meter readings for the gas/electric today, the bill isn't too bad. We are massively overpaying as I refuse to have a DD. I'd rather pay the actual bill. I'll have to have a look to see whether there are any deals for that situation. I'd accept a DD if it was just paying the actual bill each month/quarter, but I don't want to build up large credits and be at their mercy as to what I pay each month. We used to do it, and it was such a faff getting refunds, or they'd put the DD up by a silly amount, it just annoyed me."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
