Is anyone able to give me actual date for deadline.
Popla code letter dated friday 3rd august but received tues 7th august.
inbetween being weekend and non working day , when is my actual deadline?
sry i know its 28 days.

3rd August plus 28 days by my reckoning gives you until 31st August. ( I did that sum in my head - no computer involved)

However, it is well reported on here that PoPLA codes routinely last 32 or 33 days.

Hi guys, thanks 4 the help and have tried to do the draft and am half way thru and panicking!
Have been worried about doing draft and not being able to send it ( not sure pdf) or deadline passes.

If I were to use the 2000 characters on their site,(only if cant get pdf sorted and last resort) do u think I can cram the relevant stuff or will I have no chance with defence no matter what I write as cant expand on points (Due to space).
I have as my defence
1) signage, landowner authority, forbiden signage, grace period, not person liable,
Should i expand on any of these more if got space and how much detail do i include with each point ( the minimum)


IS this possible? I email sister my appeal, with attachments of pics and then she cut and paste to pdf file, individually attach pics to where ive put "insertpic 2" etc.

Then could i also go to popla site open and input data, leave unfinished. then let sister log in and attach pdf file and send??? sorry if this sounds stupid!

My 28 days from letter is 31st, but letter date is friday! Hopefully still ok tomorrow!

What do you mean by "letter date is friday"? That is a day not a date??

No, it is almost impossible to say enough in your favour in the 2000 characters.

I've only done that once, when it was an easy case on Council land and I just said it wasn't relevant land and the keeper had not been identified, and the signs were crap - and won. But that was due to the fact it was Council land - a 100% slam dunk winning point which only takes a line to argue.

You do not have that luxury of 100% win, and you need to throw the kitchen sink at it, IMHO.

POPLA codes last 32 days, so you have the weekend at least, if your 28 days is nigh.

Friday meaning it arrived on the tues after.. was prob posted on Friday! so that date 3rd aug, count as day 1??

You can tell what day the POPLA code was issued by the 3 numbers before the '8' in the middle. They tell you the day in the year that it was issued, and you can compare that to an epoch day Calendar (Google it).

Please no-one post a link to the P/C site POPLA calculator, not needed, not recommended, don't any any newbies looking there and following links that will not assist.
