Why do people still buy money? when it is much better to use nationwide and post office cards as explained in Martins travel section.
Why is this question asked every day?0 -
because you can't pay for most cabs, buses, etc. with a credit card, and there's no guarantee you'll find a cash machine that's accessible as soon as you arrive somewhere at three in the morning.;)
Everyone needs a bit of cash in their pocket, might as well get it at a decent rate.:DMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
Balance 19th April '07 = minus £27,640
Balance 1st November '09 = mortgage paid off with £1903 left over. Title deeds are now ours.0 -

A lot of places I travel to want payment in USD i.e. for tours etc. You can't get USD out of an ATM in Vietnam!
PS I got 2.049 from the Post Office a couple of days ago. I'm off to Jordan..............guess what currency they've asked for payment :rolleyes:0 -
OK looks like I stand corrected on the need to buy dollars in the UK, but Why is this question asked every day on this forum?0
