Well done on tracking your spending CR. It is a real eye opener isn't it and highlights where the money leaks to.

Hope DD is OK and has a good day at school x

:hello:Thanks karmacat and Busy Mee 1 for your words of encouragement. DH was off today as he has to work tomorrow. We went to the allotment and collected beetroot from storage. He announced that he needed to go to out to the reserviour where he is doing his side hustle in a couple of weeks to see what he will need to do with his students. So had a nice walk although the weather wasn't great. Cost to misc was £1.50 parking costs. Busy day for all of us tomorrow, DD1 starts her voluntary work, DH at work, I'm volunterring at our local transition town event and DD2 is out with her PA. Other than that not alot to report really.

Hope you've all had a good day and managed to stay warm.

  • DD1 voluntary work went really well and will definately be going back :j. I've been to our local transition town day and was there for 4hrs. My back was so painful by the time I got back and so cold (just thawed out), but really enjoyed it. DD2 called in with her PA which provided a brief respite. Called at the allotment to pick up some onions from storage as aiming to having beetroot and onion pizza for tea. DH been at work today. Our hooligan(dog)is finally home:T, although my mum's dog has that 'I am not amused' look:rotfl:. Bought some seed potatoes whilst out £3.60 not sure which category to put them in A) food, as eventually they will have babies which I will then eat or B)Miscellaneous as they are for the allotment and can't be eaten yet. Other costs today was bus fayre and food for DD1 and DD2 £20 (£6 was BF).

Yesterday we went and met up with my dad and his wife at their local wildlife trust reserve. Very windy and cold so glad we had just an hours walk, but was good to get out and the cobwebs were well and truely blown away. DH has finally managed to spend the money he was given when he left his old job (5 months ago) in fact we were so suprised he'd finally got some binoculars we gave him a round of appaulase and the whole cafe stopped talking to see why we were clapping hence a very red faced DH:rotfl:. He's thinking of spending the rest on a small chainsaw for his side hustle. I suspect it will take him months to decide like the binoculars did.

    This Month budget 25/1/19 - 25/2/19
    Petrol - £107.21/£350 (includes £80 bus money
    Entertainment - £21.00 /£60
    Food -£75.85 / £440
    Misc £10.50 / £25
    Meds - £22.58 / £30 (includes £22 insurance.
    Chritmas fund £100 saved
Holiday fund Hmmmmm well it currently stands at -£2 as we've managed to book our (deposit paid only) October holiday.

Sister came over today to pick up a massive carpet a friend had given me so she could use it to kill the weeds at her allotment. We were like a female version of the chuckle brothers trying to get it into her car. She told me the back seats couldn't be put down due to the dog guard. We tried in the boot, on the back seat but the bloomin thing just wouldn't go in. I don't think it helped we were laughing constantly. It eventually went in the boot with the back seats down:eek: . Why she wouldn't do this in the first place is beyond me, but hey ho.
Dr appointment made for hip and knee pain, just need to make appointment for smear:j can't wait !!!!!!!.
Mum's dog has finally gone home:j:j hoping she manages ok. She did me a cooked veggie breakfast as a thank you.

  •:mad::mad::mad: just lost what I was going to post:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:.
Managed to get a cancelled appointment when I went to book my smear test, oh joy of joys. Its essential but its not something to look forward to is it? So glad its out the way. Its a 9 to 10 week wait so fingers crossed it comes back fine.
Went to the allotment harvested cauliflower, swede and got beetroot out of storage. Was not a place to linger as it was so cold. Although no snow as of yet. School rang to say they had a white over and what was it like here (just rain) so didn't send DD2 home. I find it facinating that the school is only 15 miles away and the weather is very different. DH sent home from work as they were at risk of being snowed in. So DH interuptted my tiara wearing afternoon, so shoved him in the spare room to work whilst I finished spring cleaning/ decluttering our room. Hopefully I'll be able to do the bathroom tomorrow and get a few  jobs done in there too.
    TT of 74p.
Decided to give the dog a good brush as not managed it since she came home and could of made asmall poodle or westie from the amount of hair she is shedding. Maybe a guinea pigs worth tomorrow:rotfl:. Had a lovely walk with her this morning the birds were in full twitterpating mode (bambi/thumper and flower ask owl what all the animals/birds are doing and he says 'they're twitterpating' I love. love, love that film except when bambi's mum dies).
Anyway best go and remove the tiara and start tea before the hoards arrive.

When I brush the dogs I tuck the hair into the conifer hedge and then watch the birds help themselves,,,they must have cosy nests.
