Info about the new HBC RS is online - I'm not tempting fate by trying to apply before tomorrow.

Same 1.75% interest, matures March  February 2023.

    All wrong...

Don't forget that any of your Virgin RS will have interest added on 11/3

I presume this interest is compounded until maturity. Therefore there is no point in withdrawing the interest.
It does make compiling savings interest earned in a tax year for HMRC purposes a little more complicated. (see my post on HMRC interest payments)

The 11/3/22 interest is withdrawable so it's potentially taxable for the current year.

My VMRSHBC 5 matures today. Cannot find a new issue of a RS. Is there one? The last one I opened was Issue 10 maturing 3/2023
