    That barrage of trivia doesn't address any of the issues sensibly, so I won't bother to argue with your interjections.
    I want dumb meters reinstalled, but don't know if there is a tried and tested procedure for this. I hope there may be people reading this thread who have had similar experiences and are able to offer some constructive advice.


    Perhaps you could take over paying the bills.....then people might care what you as a landlord wants
    An answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......

    Advice given on Assured and Regulated Tenancy, Further advice should always be sought from a Solicitor....

    It isnt trivia it is an observation that the only reason the stipulation is in the TA is because the person producing the contract is an fool  who does not know their job properly.
    Anyway I understand that you can have the meter removed but it will cost you somewhere around £150 
    As they say you pays your money and you takes your choice
    or you could try asking the supplier to remove the smart meter functionality ( if perhaps if you unplug it may have  the same effect)
