  • Nothing yet for us jid134 we aren’t even at second fix yet but our offer runs out soon and I just don’t think they are going to get it done in time so I’m not sure if we are going to need to extend or what that would entail so stressful!! And we haven’t even moved yet lol

Am sure they will give you an extension,

    Been a busy few days,

Friday got the email to say completion had been done at 9.30 from the solicitors then at 9.35 I got a call from the sales office to collect the keys, in the meantime my friend who is a carpet fitter was in doing all the carpets.

Then started to unload and didn't finish until 10pm that night that was just kitchen bits, saturday was in work from 12 until 8 and then went up after work to do little bits and today i was on call so went up with work clothes prepared just incase i got the call to do a flight..

Shaved the kick boards hovered and mopped the kitchen argos came with my delivery of white goods hooked them all up put them in there tiny places and put curtains up then as i dont have a water meter yet i thought I'd take advantage with a red hot bath hahaha..

Oooh April.will soon come fast but am sure they will be sooner than that I'd say middle of March when does your offer expire?
  • Lol that is a seriously busy weekend! You’ll need a holiday to get over the move! Have you booked any time off? I booked a week off this month thinking we would be in so I think we will have a lot of late evenings/weekends trying to move lol.
It expires start of April so I’m hoping they will get us in at the end of March it seems to be going really quickly now so fingers crossed!

Hi I’m hoping somebody can help me.
Before lockdown we accepted an offer on our house and got an agreement in principle with Bluestone (long story why we’re using them but we are recovering well and not had any adverse credit for 3 years now)
we’ve had to use a certain broker as we’re buying a new build.
Before lockdown an advisor from the broker came to see us to do a full application, she was on very good terms with Bluestone underwriter so was able to keep in touch directly.
This advisor told us that the underwriters were well aware of our case and positive about it. We were also lead to believe an AIP is a good indication of whether we get accepted.
That advisor has been furloughed and we are dealing with another who has said the complete opposite and there was no guarantee at all and we should never have been given this impression.
It’s now in the second stage of underwriting and we were hoping to hear something by the end of this week which is unlikely now.
Obviously things have been slowed down because of the virus but the problem we have now is our buyers surveyors are asking us when they can come, I don’t want the buyers to waste their money if we get to the point of having to pull out and declined.
We was completely up front with the application, no change of employment, new credit applications or the way we conduct our finances at all.
Our credit file is exactly the same
I feel as though I’m constantly mithering our broker but it is playing on mine and my husbands mind.
I would really appreciate anybody’s experience of Bluestone and any insight at all.
    Many thanks

Even if it’s a remortgage is the valuation process still the same? So is it dip then underwriters then valuation then underwriters then offer again?
