Excel Parking Services - Flipped Ticket

  • This looks like the letter before the letter before claim. I have received one of these. The next letter will probably require a rebuttal letter.

Although Excel will pursue this to court stage they could bail at the last minute. The case does not have any merit and there has been much success with fluttering ticket cases. That said judges can be a bit random but some judges have been a bit p---ed off that these cases have been bought to court.

They love to throw up the Beavis case. Lets hope that the Private Members Bill p---es on their bonfire.

As a judge said to a parking company ..... these tickets should have an adhesive backing.

Excel will try anything on. I do wonder if Renshaw-Smith has an addiction for being whooped in court.
He can then throw his toys out of his pram again and complain about the judge .......

Thank you just checking for peace of mind. So this will eventually end up in court?

Has anybody else noticed that the final demand is for £160 whilst the previous letter; "Notice of intended court proceedings", was for only £100.

No but I noticed what a lot of red ink they use, with that 'DO NOT IGNORE' section looking desperate and scam-like. Looks even worse than their previous letters, what a mess.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Letter before Claim received on 17/12/18 (dated 11/12/18).
Attached is a "Standard Financial Statement" labelled Annex 2.
Also a Reply form with various options on.

    Does this require a response?
Any major DO & DONT's across the forms?

    Thank you in advance

You need to react to that LBC as advised in post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.

"Any major DO & DONT's across the forms?"
    Yes, don't use the forms.

At this stage, does this definitely mean this will go to court?
