"Thank you for your email.
I can see you switched away on the 10th so we advise that it will take 2-4 weeks for you to receive your final bill. If it passes this date and you still haven't received it, not to worry it may just be that our billing team are having a busy period and will be sending it as soon as they get the chance."
1 week to go then.
same reply here....almost word for word0 -
I switched on the 12th September to Eversmart. Octopus sent me the final bill two weeks ago and the money they owed me (only £5) appeared in my account today.0

Just keep your own readings and let it take it's course. I've been keeping weekly readings so I've got evidence of my consumption over the past several years. As far as I'm concerned, I've tried to give them all the info that they need and now it's up to them to sort it out.
I reckon I owe them a couple of quid so it's up to them to decide when they want to claim itNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
I've had an email today with final bill. They owe me £55 and say I will get it by the 17th. I added my bank details to my account. I just hope they don't take a DD payment in error.0

Still no bill here, will leave it till the end of next week then chase up again, if it still hasn't happened.0 -
Well -another week passes - my new supplier has supplied the first statement for my leccy account - but my Octopus account appears frozen in time, some 27 days after I changed supplier.
No reply to my email from ~10 days ago either. Going on holiday shortly -whats the betting that I come back to messages from a debt collector?0
