Ccl - airbnb is brill! We used it for coming out to Spain, and would certainly use it as a first choice when looking for somewhere to stay. We need self-catering due to dietary needs and a whole flat/house to ourselves is perfect. And you don't have to get dressed at all if you don't want to!

Today I am grateful for a lovely day, for a walk around the walls plus an explore off to the sides a bit, for my friend coming up here, for dh spending time sorting out her laptop for her, for my friend opening up and talking about 'stuff' she wouldn't normally share, for dd making more sy1vanian clothes, for t'interweb making things so easy, for getting acclimatised so that walking in 37 degrees isnow bearable (!) - shame we go home tomorrow!

Sorry I haven't updated, been working 12 hour days and just collapsing when home. Update...

Only 1 NSD managed so far.

Diet has gone to pot! Although I am going to download the geocaching app later in an effort to get me moving.

I've not treated myself but last night I got home from working on my Birthday to find kids had cleaned, decorated house with balloons & banners, got me a cake, presents and ordered a Chinese - they are good lads.

    NSD 3 today

Took out the fee for the football camp on Saturday (spend day) and cash has sat here on the mantle waiting so I don't mess up my NSD today - not free, but £1 per day, so nearly free considering the price of lots of kids stuff!

Odeon Kids is £2.00 - £2.50 a ticket for, this week, Show Dogs / Patrick / Peter Rabbit / Coco - every day - some are subtitled, some are austism friendly, it says on the website which showings on which times and days are which. Odeon has concessions (Ben&Jerrys/ Costa) so you don't need to sneak your own popcorn in, as they have already agreed with the concessions that they do not have the monopoly on food, so don't worry about taking a big bag to hide your stuff in. You are allowed.

Plus they have air conditioning - great for the heat, but also for hayfever relief.

Just seen a lovely promotion for anyone who has children who are collecting Scottish higher or A level results over the next two weeks. If they take their results in on results day they get a free 1/4 chicken or a free starter :)

    Afternoon Turtles

Work on - Have been through all my clothes, shoes, toiletries and make up and any clothing/shoes that I don't want/need is either in the bin or going to the charity shop. Keeping all the toiletries and make up a to use before I buy any more. At least I actually know waht I have now.

    NSD 5/15 - Didn't go out

Update (Budgets) - Can't think of anything more to do this month apart from contact the dreaded Virgin.

Get (prepared for Xmas) -Toys for the three wee ones are in my wish list. Two are definite but not sure about the third so will resist until I make up my mind to save paying two lots of postage.

Utilise (free activities in your area) - Nothing today.

Share (money saving tips) - Can't think of anything further at the moment.

Treat (yourself) -That's for later this month

Dawn Used some of the leftover chicken with carrots and onions which we've had for ages to make soup for dinner tomorrow. Going to roast the rest of the carrots and parsnips to have with leftover roast beef and potatoes (from the freezer naturally) tonight. Thanks so much for all the suggestions.

    Hello Indigo
Nice to hear from you. Hope you are well. It's difficult not to spend when you've just moved into a place of your own. You don't realise what you don't have until you need it. So long as your essential bills are up to date.
