Sorry I've been MIA - not managing life very well right now.
MH nurse coming with scan results tomorrow - not looking forward to Mum's reaction.
Narco - I did read your post the other week so thank you for the comments and offer of support :A Unfortunately, Mum already gets upset and angry, argues with things I say and talks about how she is getting better.
LW - some good advice already; I have a good teacher friend with a Parkinson's diagnosis who manages well on her meds. Positive vibes heading to MK for you and Mr LW xx
Today I did manage WM x 1, WU, rubbish out, bin cleaned and a little bit of tidying.

Even though you have your doggy guests, it might be worth your while (and other FlyLadies') checking out https://www.gov.uk/self-assessment-tax-returns/who-must-send-a-tax-returnthis page on the HMRC website to see if you still need to file a tax return every year.
I claim a portion of the cost of running my mobility buggy, as at least half it's use is for dog-walking; plus any odd expenses concerned with dog-sitting (spare poo bags, for example). It's a pain in the proverbial to do, but not as bad as a PIP form, by a very long chalk!
Many thanks for the posi-vibes everyone - much appreciated. I'll feel a bit happier when Mr LW actually has his meds in his hot little hand.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

OH organised a builder to come and look at the yard wall this morning. The chap phoned and said he could do the job, so the wall's now mended after 25 years of being on the wonk, and he's coming back on Tuesday to fit the cat proofing fence posts. So relieved. In th meantime they can't go outside at all but OH and I can do the finishing off needed out there over the weekend.
I've defrosted the freezer because the clanking was unbearable. I wish I'd realised I had enough microfibre blankets to wrap all of the food in and done it months ago. Just waiting for it to get down to a decent temperature before I reload it.
Kitchen sink swished while I was cleaning the base of the oven.
Money matters sorted that have been annoying me for weeks and one that has been annoying me for 18 months. Done.
A big pile of stuff went to the Scrapstore yesterday. What I love about going there is that everything is seized with such enthusiasm by the manager. Very gratifying.
I've accepted quite a few offers on the stuff I listed on The Bay of E this week, so not only have I decluttered piles of stuff, I've got loot! Hurrah! Someone made me an offer on the chalet flymo type mower and said she's give me cash on collection and asked for my address. 'I'd prefer you to Paypal me first' I said. I'm not as green as I'm cabbage looking.
Lovely payoff to the disposal of the chalet bedding. The Women's Refuge said they'd take everything - blankets, duvets, pillows, towels, the lot, so I washed and dried as much as I could and got the rest done at a kind and new to me dry cleaners, and dropped them off on Wednesday this week. I had an email on Thursday morning to say they'd had an emergency arrival in the city of a mother and kids who'd moved into a flat and needed everything - the manager was making up the beds with that bedding that night. I have to admit I had a little bubble about that. I went round to pick the laundry bags up today and they gave me a bunch of sunflowers. Apparently they see lots of Facebook pages where people ask what to do with bedding and it seems it always ends up going to the dogs' homes, so they were very grateful. It's always worth giving them a thought.
Cream crackered. Fortunately I made supper earlier, so all I've got to do is bang it in the newly cleaned oven with some hobnobs out of the freezer and red peppers for tomorrow after a shower. I'm drenched.Better is good enough.0 -
