Quick update - GP surgery called, script has gone to S/Drug electronically. Mr LW called S/Drug - they don't have it in stock, but are obtaining it, and it'll be ready to collect after 11:00 tomorrow morning.

Dunno if it counts as Flying, but Indi decluttered a large pile of poo in the back garden. :rotfl:

Well done LW - finishing your tax return is a great achievement, as is getting Mr LW to sort his prescription :T:T
Even though you have your doggy guests, it might be worth your while (and other FlyLadies') checking out https://www.gov.uk/self-assessment-tax-returns/who-must-send-a-tax-returnthis page on the HMRC website to see if you still need to file a tax return every year.
If you think you are eligible not to, follow the link to see if you need to send in a return, and if you still think you are eligible just contact them by phone or post or online via your Government Gateway account. I did it by phone, and although there was a whole raft of questions to answer, it only took 5 minutes. Now I am free of tax returns for (hopefully) the rest of my life! :D

DH finally went to the GP today about his chest. He has "crackling" in the lower left lung so, in view of his recent medical history, has been prescribed strong ABs. He's also got some stronger painkillers for his hip and knee and an x-ray appointment next week.

Rosie has been to the vet and had her vaccination, kennel cough stuff up her nose, flea and wormer treatments and nails clipped. As a reward I took her up on the big hills for an hour: it was absolutely beautiful up there. She now wants another walk... If only you were closer, Dizzy!

I haven't achieved a great deal of flying [STRIKE]today[/STRIKE] this week apart from accompanying each of the patients to their respective consultations. I did S&S bathroom and kitchen this morning. I also set up my PC which I collected from the repair shop yesterday, and have backed up my flash drive and laptop on the new expansion drive that I bought (the shop had already backed up my PC). Now comes the "fun" of sorting out all the files and deleting duplicates.

Someone who was supposed to be coming to see DH this afternoon rang this morning to say he couldn't come until tomorrow. I am peeved because it has messed up the first page in my new diary  I should have known better and just pencilled him in :(

Tomorrow I absolutely must sort out the mess that is my study and then start working my way through my Toots list.

I hope you are getting better, pigpen. Please don't fade away.

(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks to all, as needed x

Well done, LW, on all counts. We are so lucky with our GP surgery, where waits are nothing like you have.

Today I have ticked off harvesting more beans and courgettes, a dentist appointment, a small grocery shop, bathroom cleaning, and an hour of paperwork. I did consider starting my tax return, but the moment passed.

I have to go to paid stuff tomorrow, but DD wants a flying list, so a list she shall have!
  • Nothing done today.

He's been too sleepy and I just CBA after taking the time to make a nice lunch (smorrebrod with prawns and eggs, homegrown dill, plus various salady things, only to have him go back to sleep for hours, to do anything else.

He's just decided he's hungry, so has been told to go and get a takeaway, and I'm going to bed.

Well. My day didnt exactly go to plan. A few dailies and then out of the door for the craft morning. BY THE time WE had Cleared up and walked home it was 12.30. Made lunch and then m.and d turned up. Just making them a cuppa.when my gravel.turned up. Spent the next 3 or 4 hours transporting it out of the bags. I have gone for big pebbles. 4-8cm in size which meant i couldnt shovel it and was very time consuming. OH came home and helped me for the last half an hour and, you guessed it, not quite enough so got to order another tonne tomorrow. Ggrrr l!!!
Now the whole house is a tip again. Well family room and kitchen. I was so exhausted i couldnt face it tonight. So i have all that to look forward to and i will.carry all.my jobs over!!!

Well done, hopefully just keep chipping away at tasks when you feel able and you can gain a bit of relief. Good news about the meds too. The power of combined flylady thoughts remain with you.

Today was mainly retail based flying, but necessary.
Mr N started his day with a feather duster to regime web spinners.
I beat Printer into submission as yesterday it was "in error mode" and I had some admin things hanging in space.
I had my 1 to 1 with the injury personal trainer, which went well, while Mr N checked on mil.
Went to JL in Welwyn to select wedding gifts for our friend's daughter, thus decluttering a voucher I'd had lurking. Oops had coffee and cake, goodness knows what was in it as the assistant quoted "glutenfree" (all one word) with clearly no clue what it meant, ignoring my repeated questions about content including wheat, a word she didn't seem to know.
Went to M&S to get rid of another voucher. I Don't want to sound ungrateful, but I wish people giving me vouchers would think whether there is actually that particular shop closer than 16 miles away i.e. drive 32 miles to spend a £15 voucher.
Then went to Arg*s to return my step tracker, which has stopped charging after 6 months. Luckily they had the same model and exchanged it.
Dropped leaflet into fellow flower club member listing what we have to take for next week's workshop.
    Did a few emails.
    Planted Lily bulbs.
    Watered greenhouse.
Fed birds, scrubbed out their water and topped up bird bath. Oddly, Mr N found small live tadpoles in pond - lots of froglets hopped off months ago so goodness knows where these came from.
London tomorrow for Mr He's birthday.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.
