There aren't many days when I can just crack on for hours, shifting stuff that's been needing doing for months, and in some cases years but today was one of those days. Thank you for kind comment, Valli. It means a lot coming from someone who I know has spent the day steamcleaning. (How could you bear it?)

Still a few jobs left for over the weekend - mainly vaccuming but that's what I normally do on a Sunday morning so the house is ready for the following week.

    Need to also do:
    1 x dark wash
1 x teddies and clothes unearthed from the kids rooms they no longer want and will be cleaned and put in sucky bags in the attic for grandchildren :D
put away the moving blankets from the attic that were washed this week and have been airing before I put them away.

Well done Honey Bear - great progress :T:T:T
And Valli, I don't know how you managed to steam clean in this heat either!

    I have
    - sorted the toddler group's craft materials into plastic boxes and rearranged the stuff on the extra shelves that I put up in the landing cupboard a few weeks ago so that there is room for everything.
    - sent 2 emails.
That's 3 jobs crossed off my Toots list :D

And I have sorted my Toots list into sections according to areas of the house and of my life, so that I can concentrate on getting rid of one section at a time. Sad, I know...

Froddy, coping vibes and (((hugs))) heading your way.
LW, I hope Mr LW got his meds and has started taking them.

    Hi all

In theory I finished work at 3pm, in practice I was on the laptop at home until 5. Since then I have rehomed various bits of gibble, dusted and hoovered our bedroom, wrapped suitcases to go back in loft, dusted bathroom and washed floor, put in 3 loads of washing, hoovered the stairs, swept kitchen and scrubbed the floor, sorted out DSs meds and put some clean washing away.

There is still a bit more to do but thats OK - I just didnt want to spend half of tomorrow cleaning. DH did the LR too, lovely to have a bit of help.

Feet up now - DS might be to pick up and it's my turn.

I had a second shower and have decluttered cava and chewed the fat with my.mate, she's vegetarian and it was metaphorical fat,

As for steam cleaning well it was for the aged p's.

And if I can have 2 showers a day I see no reason why others shouldn't at least try 1. One needs a nose peg to go out in public...or a thick skin

    Morning all,
Lots of ((hugs)) and coping vibes, Frodders x
That sounds like a good day, Jazee.
I've not got a lot planned for the weekend, apart from the usual jobs and errands. I have designated tomorrow morning to be Allotment Morning. Early.
I'm just waiting for the wm to finish, then I will hang that out, then maybe some gardening until I have to take DD out.

    Have a lovely day everyone.x

Washing is on line, almost dry, washing up is drip drying. Cars are partially clean, I've been waiting for a decent time to get the hoover out . Gardening is ongoing. I've sawed off all the sunflowers that got killed in the high winds last weekend.

    Just having a cuppa.
