I have sorted a pile of papers that had accumulated on top of my filing cabinet, and half of it has been filed away properly or binned :)
The rest is covering the spare bed

Mr LW has now had a total of three 62.5mg L-dopa tablets, one yesterday evening, one early this morning, and one a little while ago. He's been given a week's supply, which isn't anywhere near what the consultant said, but our excellent S/Drug pharmacist has taken up the case and checked into it for us, and the next phase - which are stronger - will be released to him next week apparently.

You won't believe this, I can actually see a slight difference already.

Stupidly, I'm finding myself getting very tearful. Which is daft.

Of course you're tearful, it's relief :) Hope he continues to see some benefit.

Not daft at all - they're incredibly effective and the difference can be startling. FIL has the dissolvable ones (under the guise of being Nicotine Replacement Therapy tablets) and it's obvious when he's taken one within a few minutes.

Well done for the subtle Wolfy Growl that got the prescription sorted out.

And your dragons are probably breathing a sigh of relief... :D

Done nothing. Doing nothing. Was awake until about 9.30am when I couldn't trust my eyes anymore and collapsed onto the bed in the Studio (having had to clear it off first AGAIN) cuddling an ice pack because the heat was suffocating me all night.

When will this heat ever end?

    Not daft, LW, just relief.

Flying has consisted of writing 2 birthday cards, wrapping 2 presents to go with said cards, and decluttering 2 magazines to recycling, less the useful pages that I am keeping. I think that assembling dinner (I can't bear the thought of proper cooking) just might have to be accompanied by a chilled g&t. Plymouth gin, just for the record.:D

Makes perfect sense, LW. I'm so pleased for you both.

Obviously a woman of great taste!

OH and I have spent the whole afternoon working in the yard, clearing up the rest of the mess left by the idiot who pressure washed the walls. It's looking a lot better. It's still not finished but we've broken the back of it at last. The builder's coming back on Tuesday so I need to get some of it finished by then.
    Better is good enough.

Is there any other type? :D

Glad you have noticed some improvements LW.

Today has consisted of finishing off the front garden. After 4 months of having a 'project' instead of a front garden, i now have a smart and tidy front garden with 3 tonnes of beach pebbles and a funky new door mat to finish it off!!
I have spent the rest of the day clearing up the stuff i have neglected over the last few days including sweeping and mopping the dusty floors. Have also made 2 lasagnes for the freezer.
Although i havent managed to keep up with the lists the house is definately moving in the right direction so hopefully it will be easier next week!!

Enjoy your cuddles Kaz. Glad Mr LW is showing improvement.

Morning all. Not such an early start here. Party was wonderful.
Today will be dailies, dog walk if not too warm and gardening.

    Have a great day everyone.
