Dry now but the dogs didn't want to go out anyway. I have cleaned the bedroom and hoovered and swept through the house. Recycling is out.

Dry washing from yesterday folded and put away.
    Bird feeders filled.
Torrential storm last night so about to wander up to village plum tree with a bowl to collect fallen fruit.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

LR cleaned. Numerous spiders rehoused. Magazine mountain sorted. The Refusing To Die orchids have been tamed.

I've unplugged the wii and hidden it. As it hasn't been used for so long, I'm going to see how long it takes them to notice **evil laugh**. The most use it gets is me dusting the wretched thing.

Well my Get up and go kind of got up and went yesterday. I managed to do the shopping, give the bathroom and kitchen a swish and swipe and that was me. Think I was partly just knackered from lack of sleep over the weekend and also worried about my dad. He had a heart bypass a year ago and is out in France on holiday at present with mum. Mum phoned sunday afternoon to say they thought that he was having another heart attack and he had been admitted to hospital - cue another sleepless night. Looks like he is okay and they now think its a warning which has been brought on by the heat, over doing it (working in the house) and tiredness (not sleeping well due to the heat) and hopefully he should be let out today.

So not a lot done yesterday but cracking on with things today

Workman has been. We can now walk safely across the landing. I've been into town, ordered new flooring for the kitchen and had my hair cut.

Also sorted out the crockery cupboards and the one that holds tea and coffee supplies.

I put mine outside to enjoy a bit of fresh air. That did the trick.

OH dropped off at the station.
More painting in the yard done. Just waiting for the wood and flagstones to dry out in the sunshine so that I can mask them and finish the edging now.
Waiting for the plumber who is late.
Just about to peg out the second WM load and bung the third in.
    Breadmaker on.
    Lunch scoffed.
Ebay parcel wrapped and weighed. Buyer is sending me a prepaid label when she pays the balance so all I have to do is hand it over to the driver. Good.

I emailled a proposal it's taken me five months to put together to a supplier today and got an instant acceptance back. Really, really chuffed with that. It was my new idea this year, it might grow into something really good and it might not. My proposal is fair to both of us and will stand us in good stead if the business idea works. Having sorted the main supplier I now need to sort the outlets. I think I'll rig up a dummy fair stand in the dining room this afternoon, take some photographs and send them along with a follow up sample if they request one. That should make the decision easy for them and I'd know one way or the other. Good.
    Better is good enough.

    Hi all

Sounds exciting HB, hope it all goes to plan.

Welcome back Frizzle and well done on achievements big and small everyone else.

I am home from work. Doing one of those strange days where I have an evening meeting so unless I come home for a few hours I do a 13 hour day (not to be recommended). So home, feet up, brew made and firmly ignoring the grubby kitchen floor. The rest of the kitchen is fine.

LR wont get done today, other than a quick tidy - it's not too bad.

I made a casserole for tea and will heat that up and do some spuds in a bit but need a bit of down time first.

Oh and Dizzy I heard someone say yesterday that they cant wait for the kids to go back to school and they have only been off a week!
