Good evening :hello:
I've flown! On a week day! Whatever next?
I had a quiet day at work and to fill the time I drew up a weekly planner/ schedule which includes regular flying slots. On the way home from work I paid the rent and next month's C. Tax as usual, but instead of coming in, getting changed and flopping - I flapped instead. :T. Who'd have thought one vowel could make so much difference
During the course of the evening I've: dried pots that were LTD yesterday; WUDUPA x 2 bowls of pots (including tonight's tea pots); WM x 1 which has nearly dried on the line and has been brought in to 'finish' on the airer; put out rubbish & recycling including several glass jars that had to be washed first; put pile of books in to bags for cs and labelled bags with Gift Aid details so that I can just drop them off and dash; pulled up a few weeds whilst escorting DS's dad to the gate after we'd had coffee; and put a large scruffy black feather in the bin - it was just outside the back door. Gone nowEvery little helps
That's me done for the day. Just having a coffee and catching up with the thread. Then going to read my book - only 25 pages left, then it can go in the cs bag.... I'm on a roll :j
Hugs to all who want one. Posivibes and healing vibes being sent out in to the ether.

Hello all,
I was wondering if you would all have me back? ??
I was a regular on here and it really helped. 3 years ago we moved house and a lot of time was spent decorating etc and the general stuff became hard to keep up with. Then my daughter was born and since then as a family we are struggling with the day to day stuff. I feel like i tidy a room and then an hour later it is trashed again. My husband says it is to be expected with three children and a busy life but i am fed up of being embarrassed when an unexpected visitor comes knocking!!! We are very fortunate to have a decent sized house but i think that makes it even harder to keep it tidy!!
We are both agreed that we have too much stuff and although we have previously done KM we really need to look into that again.
So... i am now on summer holidays so going to try and stick with it and try to get my house back!!!
Best wishes

Evening ladies!
I am here, just not really with it at the moment. Dogs aside, I am struggling with financial worries, school holidays and general lack of GUAG.
I've read all the news - new job congratulations, belated birthday wishes, welcome home hugs, poorly rellie sympathies and slimming success celebrations to one and all.
I have celebrated Tiny's 4th birthday, watched life-sized dinosaurs patrol the stage, paid £60 for a round of very mediocre burgers, handed over a DS3, which he knows how to use far better than me already, baked countless chocolate cupcakes and sponges, marvelled at my lack of cake decorating skills, drunk gin and started a countdown until the start of the Autumn term...
Did I say I'm on Day 671 of hell on the outer rings of Hades...? No? I'm sure I've mentioned it...0 -
Something has tried to eat me. I noticed a small nip two mornings ago and ignored it after determining there wasn't anything still in it. I now have a huge scarlet lump with a growing black patch in the middle of my inner calf.
We have no horses or deer within a vile bitey bug's flight. So I am not impressed.
I think tomorrow will see a large scale clear and vacuum of the bedroom in case the culprit is still there.
Himself is snoring away. Grumpy Fluffy Cat is happily purring away between us. Idiot Cat is downstairs.
I'm bored.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
I hope you feel better very soon, Pigpen.
Welcome back, Frizzle.

Morning all. Workmen coming today, I want to clean the bedroom and need to go into town to order new flooring. Raining here so no dog walk yet.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning everyone.
Blue skies here again. DW emptied from last night and WM just finishing, so hopefully I'll be able to hang the clothes outside. I'm taking DD to her friend's shortly, which is a 1.5 hour round trip. Then I get to repeat the pleasure this afternoon. I have lots of things to do in the in between gap, but no doubt I will dither and do very little.
Have a lovely day all.0 -
