Morning
Thank you for all the lists xx
Light drizzle here, so putting off doing washing, until either it stops and the sun comes out or tomorrow, I really do not want to use the TD.
Going to hoover, dust, clean bins etc for whole house in a bit.
Food shopping

Morning all. Thanks for the list.
I've been up since 5 so have done the dailies, changed the bedding and taken the dogs for a very long walk. I have an hour and a half now before I need to take them to the groomer, so I'll see what I can achieve.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Minimal Flying again this week; the Cavapoos are here til next Monday, and they are quite exhausting (but lovely). If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

I knew the kitchen cupboard doors were disgusting, but that bad?? Kitchen surfaces cleaned, floor swept and mopped. Utility room done as well for good measure.
Towels are blowing like crazy on the line, so I'm thinking about risking it and doing a second load.
Dinner is in the sc. What a difference a few degrees cooler makes to my motivation.0 -
I have cleaned all the bins and the bin cupboard, hoovered right through the house, been into town and done the ironing. The dogs have been groomed.
Next is preparing lasagne for tonight's tea.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Started the day with Himself looking like he's in the process of turning into a zombie. So had to go to two pharmacists to get eye drops, as the first wanted to sell expensive eye wash with no active ingredients because he isn't exuding nastiness from it - yet. Second one didn't argue and just handed the damn things over.
Just about to get on with clearing the surfaces - again - and hopefully getting some more cleaned.
He's sitting down playing games on his phone. Because staring at screens is a great idea when your eye hurts...I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
OK. Himself's retreated back upstairs.
I have:
Put more recycling out. They collected one box today. Great. The box is full again. As is the bin and the other one they didn't collect last Monday.
Swept through downstairs. Again. Himself conveniently picked up his plate and mug off the floor and put it on the countertop I had just cleaned. But he did push the vacuum cleaner around for about 120 seconds before disappearing again.
Cleaned countertop again.
Cleaned sink. Put the washing up in neat piles.
Collected Himself's other mug. I suspect there are many more upstairs in his pit.
Washed up cutlery pot. Dumped 'clean' cutlery back in sink.
Opened cutlery drawer (with an effort). Emptied 'clean' cutlery into sink.
Cleaned tray and drawer, lined with kitchen roll.
Emptied bottom shelf of crockery cupboard. Frowned at bend in shelves where they've been overloaded. Cleaned bottom shelf. Replaced crockery, put clean baking stuff in respective cupboards, put other 'clean' baking stuff in pile to be washed. Shelves no longer bending.
I will have a mountain of washing up and putting away to do, but at least it's not as bad as it was - especially as I threw away a couple of frankly useless gadgets that were taking up space in there - although, considering the fact that wine is almost never drunk in here and if it is, it's cheap screwtop stuff, I'm not entirely certain why we have 2 corkscrews, 2 barman's openers/corkscrews, 7 bottle openers and a tool for opening tins of condensed milk (which also serves as a bottle opener).
I've just realised my nails are bending alarmingly from all the immersion in water and cleaning fluids at this point, so I've decided to stop and reapply base coat/hardener to them before they start snapping off and really annoying me.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
OK, cutlery put back in drawer by Himself.
Cutlery retrieved and discreetly dried off and replaced in drawer by me. The difference it's made is surprising - we might even be able to find what we need when we need it for a while.
Going to deal with the mugs now and stick a veggie curry on.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Hi all
Gym first thing, 6 hours paid stuff. 4 hours taking rubbish to tip, calling at the shop, making a roast dinner, doing the ironing, making a casserole for tomorrow, cleaning kitchen and tidying. DSs GF made my day raving about the roast dinner. How lovely to be appreciated!
Bit of telly now then bed.0
