Enjoy Norfolk! Hope you have a fab time  You are so prepared!I'm very second hand excited for you moving in haha! 9 days  :)

Massive well done on paying back your gran... That's one debt you can move on from completely which is great!

Sorry to hear about your bosses reaction to you having to go to hospital, I wish employers were more understanding *humph*

  • Thanks guys :)

My foot appointment was good he's happy with how my tendons are coming along, and at the end I got to run down a corridor three times and he said we can try running properly in 3 weeks when I have my next appointment. He's made it three weeks time and not two so I can settle in at the new house and my body shouldn't be as stressed :rotfl:

He did ask if I was okay when I walked in and we got to talking about how I'm constantly tired and we talked through my diet and stuff, and he said I'm too dehydrated so my challenge for myself now is to try and drink at least 2 litres of water a day. His tip was to down a pint of water first thing so I get some water in me before I really realise what I'm doing :rotfl: so I had a pint when I first woke up, am part way through a 700ml bottle which I'm going to drink before I have a coffee, and got some green tea and honey to drink at work too. I spent on the bottle, green tea and honey but I see it as worthwhile if it means I feel less tired all of the time!
  • Drinking a pint when you first get up is a really good idea! I think I will start :o I drink a lot of water but usually only when I get home from work (am ashamed to say I've started buying diet cokes again from the vendies  need to stop!)

Green tea and honey sounds lovely!

Yay to running down the corridor! It's a start

  • Not long until the move now :o

Still going strong with drinking at least 2 litres of water at the moment which has surprised me. I feel a bit sick sometimes (I really don't like water haha) but I am feeling less lethargic and hungry at more normal times again now so I do believe it's for the greater good :rotfl:

Upgraded my phone today, and actually managed to haggle to a contract £15 cheaper than I pay at the moment so that was my first little win for the day. The second was that my gym has different sites in different towns, but you sign up for a membership for just one site. They have one which will be local to us at the new place, so I emailed my current site and asked if there was any way they could waive the joining fee at the new site, and how did I go about cancelling my current membership. She got in touch with the new gym and said they can just transfer it over and waive the joining/admin fee, so my direct debit will just come out as usual but be valid for the new gym instead :) I was happy with that!

Got to try and get little bits done each night now in the lead up to Saturday. As excited as I am to move, I'm excited for it all to be done on Sunday night too as we are trying to get everything built etc over the weekend ready for when the kids stay for the first time so it will be a hectic weekend methinks.

New exercises are going well for the foot, which is just as well as I weighed myself this morning and I've officially hit the next stone up weight wise, so hoping to shift half a stone at least before I go away on holiday!

  • Thanks beanielou I am definitely trying :)

Today will be spent trying to figure out all of my login details for all of my banking/credit card apps as I became heavily reliant on my old phone storing all of the passwords, so I imagine I'll be phoning lots of companies today as I can't remember my usernames for a lot of them - the passwords would be fine as I don't vary them much, but I can never remember the usernames.

I feel awful today, woke up with a swollen sore throat and headache and can't stop shivering, but can't afford to be sick from work so ploughing through with some painkillers for now until I can get out to get some medicine on my lunch break. I could do without feeling rubbish as my evenings now are going to be spent getting the last few bits ready for the move!
  • Good news :D:D:D

Updating some of my addresses in advance, spoke to car insurance company to update as of Saturday, and my monthly premium will reduce due to the new address :D

    Yay :D
  • You're so pro-active, it's great! Fab news about the car insurance and the gym... Things are sounding so positive

I recently had a login to my email which wasn't me, thankfully it was stopped by the email provider and I changed my passwords but it made me nervous that the passwords I was using weren't strong enough so now I've gone through updating my passwords... But I've lost track of what I have and haven't done! It's a complete nightmare :rotfl: I know you aren't meant to write them down but I think I may have to until I get my head all sorted haha!

Hope you are feeling better :o Echinacea is supposedly good for the immune system / helping colds. TBH I tried taking it some and never saw a difference in my cold/ flu symptoms but one of my uni friends swore by it. Might be worth a try if you are still feeling crummy!

I'm trying! I just know I'll be super stressed out if I'm trying to do a million things at the weekend, so trying to get as much done in advance as possible. I know my limits and trying to minimise the stress at the weekend - as we'll be building furniture all weekend anyway and I don't want to lose the plot :rotfl:
