  • Hello MSE! :hello:

Not much report, 11 days to go until moving day and nearly all of my packing that I can do is done. All I really have left to do is clear out underneath the bed and the rest of the things I have can be packed up the day before ready to move.

The last debt direct debit comes out tomorrow, anything I pay from the 8th onward will be an over-payment. I'm not confident I'll be able to overpay much with the move, but we shall see how it goes.

The mail redirect has been set up, the change of address will get done on the Thursday/Friday beforehand.

Plodding along for now trying to find extra ways to make a bit of money here and there, hope everyone is well :j

I handed back the keys I've got for his flat this morning, I won't be staying there again so no point keeping hold of them :rotfl:

Won't see OH now until the move - I'm visiting my family in Norfolk this weekend and he's on lates all of next week to be able to have the weekend off for the move. It's a bit naff, but we'll have all the time in the world together very soon so maybe I should make the most of it :rotfl:

Nearly upto £20 on PA, cashing that out tomorrow makes up the extra money for my physio appt tomorrow so it hasn't come out of my wages which is always useful :)

I will fill my car up completely tomorrow morning ready for Friday, and check my tyre pressures as well. I make a point of going to the gym on the day I do this so that I know I'll be at the petrol station by around 6:15 am so it won't be too busy and have people waiting for me to do my tyres :rotfl:

Miserable here today, looks as though it will rain all day. Glad to be indoors at work with the heating on! :o
  • Oh, and I felt very mature yesterday. We were planning on deep cleaning OH's bathroom as he has the estate agents doing a viewing today. It's bothered me for ages that there was a ring of something around the sink plug hole that wouldn't come off with any amount of scrubbing or cleaning products used for the rest of the bathroom.

Did some googling, actually went onto an old thread from here for dealing with limescale around plug holes, hoped that's what it was and followed the advice to use vinegar. It looks brand new now - I was very chuffed with myself and dragged OH to come and see how nice it looked :rotfl:
  • Hey MSE! :hello:

Met my Nan for our weekly lunch today, glad to see her as we were all worried for a few days last week, she went on holiday on Wednesday and upgraded her phone the day before but her number would be moving between two sims so we were hoping it would have done that before she took off, but it didn't and she didn't want to try anything with her new phone abroad so we didn't hear that she'd landed safely until my uncle called her. She had a lovely time, and I gave her the last £100 that I owed her so she is now settled in full :)

I have my foot appointment this evening, hoping it goes well my foot is sore from the new exercises we tried so hoping we can remedy that. Very disheartening as if my foot had handled the new exercises I would have been given the go ahead to try running today :( we shall see how it goes anyway

9 days to go until moving day! I have been stressing about getting my bed and mattress to the tip in a big enough car (mine is tiny) but OH and family and I were discussing last night, and OH is paying £23 to get his wardrobe collected by his council, and that's for 1-3 items so my brother and I will be taking the stuff to OH's to leave with his wardrobe, as he is paying the same whether it's 1 item or 3. This means less running around on the day which is good :o

One more working day tomorrow, then off to Norfolk to see my family for the weekend which will be nice (but cold I imagine... )
