Totally agree in the way GDP is not invested back into the country, but I don’t see Brexit helping in that regard – in fact I don’t even see it reducing immigration by any meaningful amount.

If it does, it will only be because the country is doing poorly and people don’t want to come.

We are not the worlds 5th richest country, we are 9th by their forecasted estimated gross domestic product based on purchasing power parity, abbreviated GDP (PPP).

Many have already left. The exchange rate to remit money is a determing factor.

Retail conditions already suggest that many jobs are under pressure. Some estimates put potential losses in 6 figures for 2019. M&S announced another 1,000 job losses today. On top of other retailers and losses announced at Rolls Royce, Jaguar and Ford. Pressure is mounting. HMV is only treading water. With the stores not receiving any new stock.

Impact of such losses will ripple through the wider economy.

    You cannot reinvest GDP.

Just watched Matt Hancock pretending that they can still have negotiations.

May is deluded if she thinks she can tweek the deal.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

May has shown for 2 years now that deluded is what she does best.

General election if she loses the no confidence vote? It'd mean everyone voting against the Tories, or a fee Tory rebels willing to vote themselves out of power.
That'd kill off Brexit for 6 months easily.

Mays hard brexit bluff failed, and I've honestly no idea what she'll try or what the EU will allow. I can't see then entertaining anything unless it's likely to get through parliament.

DUP will vote with the government on the confidence motion, so the no confidence motion has next to no chance of passing.

    Are you sure?

Edit: DUP announced support for May, I wonder what she's bribing them with now.
Will any Tory abstain or vote against May?

The DUP are pro Brexit. Corbyn is driving Labour into a cul de sac.

What a complete fiasco. So much for the Will of the People.
