Brexit the economy and house prices part 6

Well, if you'd vote leave after the NHS promise has fallen through and racial slurs are becoming a part of mainstream language, I'll respectfully suggest you haven't quite thought this through.0

Once again, you Brexiters trying to make out that you didn't think that Syrian refugees were trying to take over England, and that's why you voted for Brexit.
Everything you say is an attempt for you to pretend that wasn't the case. Especially embarrassing, as the refugee invasion of Britain didn't happen.
You didn't vote for Brexit to save India and Africa, you didn't vote because German goods are bad. This is nonsense and you know it.
You've actually got your victory. But if you want later generations to think you're not racist, sorry that's not going to happen.
If your kids and grandkids face tough times because of Brexit, and if you can't even admit to the possibility of that you're really deluding yourselves, they will look at you as the generation who rogered their future, because of their own ignorance and racist fears.
Victories come with a price, that may be the price you pay.0 -
Did you know that the eu is €12.5 trillion in debt? What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

As neither of those things has happened that seems rather moot.
Presumably anyone who would still vote Remain after it became clear that there was going to be no Emergency Budget, no 2-4p on income tax, no 5p on Inheritance Tax, no genuine cuts to public services, no stockmarket collapse and no prolonged recession (repeat after me: everything is priced in) hasn't thought it through either.0 -

Makes no sense. We will have less money outside the EU by any credible forecast. How can that possibly lead to more spending on the NHS?. And the lack of net-contributing EU staff will mean increased immigration from developing countries, which I imagine is less of a net contribution.0 -

GDP is not money. Where does the much of the profit go? Not into the pockets of workers nor reinvested in the economy but overseas. Fewer people on this island would help over stretched services. Much of the vote has to do with quality of life. Opportunity to simply earn a living. People can arrive here in hours. Infrastructure, training staff etc takes years.0 -

Totally agree in the way GDP is not invested back into the country, but I don’t see Brexit helping in that regard – in fact I don’t even see it reducing immigration by any meaningful amount.
If it does, it will only be because the country is doing poorly and people don’t want to come.0 -

Eye opening interview with Reese Mogg. I used to think he was fairly smart and a brilliant orator but he seems totally clueless.0
