Sorry I mean who actually said it rather than was misquopted as having said it, because Cameron certainly didn't use those words in 2016
Nobody mentioned WW3. Not Cameron nor anyone else in the remain campaign. Our forum brexiteers know this full well. Let's move on.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

How unusual for a remainer to deny the references to war that were without doubt made as my earlier links make very clear, and there are more.
But at least the latter part makes sense, and rather than rehash old debate let us indeed move on.0 -
Then you misunderstand, as seems prevalent with so much which is Brexit-related sadly.
It's really not difficult to find this information out but here you go:
https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/explainers/10-things-know-about-world-trade-organization-wto
Regardless of that, it remains fact that several countries have blocked our proposals for splitting the tariff. I don’t think that going the wto route will be nearly as easy as most brexiteers seem to think. Time will tell.0 -

Did you have a nice holiday?
I did indeed thank you - and just to recover from that holiday I'm away for an extended weekend too.0 -
If anyone is interested in why the WTO option is a non-starter, have a read.

The debate going on here is far more cogent (no matter what side) than the hamfisted negotiations being tried by our arrogant and hubristic Government.
They have no plan and never did. I suppose they are hoping that the pesky EU will cave in at the 11th hour with an open arms... all is forgiven, go on your terms, in you come thank you, thank you.
The EU is not Barnier, remember?
Anyway UK elected to leave. It is now up to UK to either leave with nothing and go on the Crash Out manoevre, or get around a table and thrash it out.
Oh and I am sure it went down really well that La May parked her hiking poles for a bit to meet Macron (only to be told where to go) and try and go above the heads of the EU.
The arrogance is just astounding to me anyway.
All people want is a nice easy comforting way out of EU that will not impact on UK whatsoever. Can that be achieved do you think without some compromise from the UK?0 -
Here it is, it's not a secret thing shared only with the Indy, that lying rag is using it to sell copy;

I neither have the time nor inclination to read this at the moment but it’ll either be ignored by the Leavers or dismissed as fake news.0 -

It was BS - highlighting other BS doesn't make it not so.
Says the one originally posting the BS, but never mind.
Rubbish was produced by both sides and continues to be produced.
It's best to try not to let yourself fall for it.ilovehouses wrote: »All this whilst in the EU - how's that possible?0 -

Oh goody, yet another blogger's opinion with no reference at all as to who wrote it.
Gripping stuff.
