The number of petitioners who have signed to stop a second referendum has now gone past the 100,000 necessary to force a parliamentary debate.
That probably means it will be attended by seven members, two of whom are playing Angry Birds on their phones and two who are texting their lovers. Even so, it's had a bit more effect than the Swedish nannies, Romanian cooks and Greek cleaners who attended the so called Peoples' Vote march.0 -
