As much I like the country and the people. Not somewhere that I could live and work. Very limited opportunties.
26 countries more opportunity than we'll have.

The number of petitioners who have signed to stop a second referendum has now gone past the 100,000 necessary to force a parliamentary debate.

That probably means it will be attended by seven members, two of whom are playing Angry Birds on their phones and two who are texting their lovers. Even so, it's had a bit more effect than the Swedish nannies, Romanian cooks and Greek cleaners who attended the so called Peoples' Vote march.

Not quite sure what the point is of a petition to stop something that has been ruled out anyway. No need for anyone to debate it.

    Although this petition:

To stop brexit in the event of no deal reached 100000 some time ago, and will also be debated.

Seems as interest is cooling then. A people simply want clarification and to get on with their lives.

The point is to counter the remainer narrative that there is no longer majority support for Brexit.

This appears to have gone under the radar.
Norway rules out Efta membership for the UK

The proposed Norway plan would have seen the UK’s EU membership replaced by a temporary European Free Trade Association (Efta) membership until a solution is found for the Irish border problem.

Blocks a negotiating position for both the UK and the EU.
